Apalachicola Seafood Grill

Was a fabulous day. Was in Apalachicola for the Historic Tour of Homes. Every year we attended and dine at the Grill. Always a fantastic meal. Great town.

The blackened grouper and shrimp was true spice. It was delicious. The salad was loaded with real greens... not just iceberg and paired with the dill ranch, it was perfect. The vibe is low key but busy. They are dog friendly for outdoor seating. We love that. It's a great central location for walking the downtown area and doing some shopping before and after. And....they serve beer and drinks....To Go if you want.

This will be a stop for us anytime we’re in Apalachicola! Everything we tried was delicious!! And everything very reasonably priced. We ate here 3 times during the week and a half we were in town. They always kindly cared for our party of 10-12. Love this place!

Wonderful restaurant with plenty of options for those not looking for seafood. Would go again. Blackened grouper was fantastic. Chicken tenders lightly breaded.

Stop in as for the name of Up to No Good Tavern which is part of this restaurant. Great flat bread - I had the Olive flatbread with mozzarella and Parmesan, it was great!
The drinks were good- I enjoyed my Bloody Mary. Staff very pleasant.

The name and menu have changed since we were here in December, but the food options were great and the food was good! A little disappointing that it now does not allow Under 21 after 4:30pm.. Kind of changes dinner options for families.

My first reaction was $29.02 for lunch at a place that has you order at the counter and serves drinks in styrofoam???
I ordered the grilled grouper basket with an upcharge for salad instead of fries.
The salad was beautiful, but I hardly touched it because the grouper was so good I wasn't leaving a bite behind. The basket with salad was definitely enough food for two people. Unfortunately, there was only me, so I over ate! I left stuffed with grouper.
The hushpuppies were OK, definitely not the best I ever had, but who cares with grouper that belongs in a 5-star restaurant!

My husband and I ate here both times we visited the Forgotten Coast and loved it each time. Fresh food full of flavor and great customer service! (We had this place on our list to go back to on our second trip!)

Very enjoyable experience. The grouper and coconut shrimp baskets were fire!! And listen Linda, get the house margarita. It was hands down one of the best margs I've ever had. I know, bold statement!!! Trust me, get the marg!!!

I had the shrimp & grouper plate grilled and it was AMAZING! The shrimp and grouper were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, and the fries were nice and crispy but soft in the center. Also, there are deserts in the cooler to the right of the counter so don’t miss those. They’re great as well. Oh, and their homemade Yumyum sauce is awesome, if you like that kind of thing.

The employees are also extremely friendly and helpful.

The Apalachicola Seafood Grill is the absolute best place in town for fresh fish and a delicious beverage. We had the fried fish, grilled shrimp and chicken wings and everything was delicious!

Don't usually review but it was really nice to go to local restaurant that had SPECIALS...I think inspired by the people that are cooking it.Chefs.
Unique and both were quite good.Garlic shrimp and Pork with Mole sauce.
Keep it up.Please.

We loved the ceviche shrimp cocktail special. It had a sweet, tangy sauce over diced onions, avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, and shrimp, with homemade chips. The coconut shrimp and dipping sauce were also very good.

We've been going out of our way to stop here for at least 10 years running. Their fried shrimp basket is 2nd to none. I only wish that they would bring oysters back to their menu. It is "oyster city"!!!

Great food at a great price off the beaten path. The shrimp and grilled mahi mahi was just right. Recommend the potato salad that's made with chives and bacon. Ulee's Margarita was very good as was the Key Lime Pie.

Amazing Gumbo, best I ever ate. Wife had salmon sandwich, very good fries were out of this world.

finished it off with a slice of key lime pie..was very good..more lemony than lime tasting..but excellent.

total bill with 1 drink was around $53. pricy..but worth it. only took about 10 minutes on a saturday at 1230....huge bonus. I think they may have a covid sur charge but small family resturaunt...worth it, at least they are working not sitting on their butts.

A great portion of shrimp and fries! Loved the sauce and hush puppies, too. It was walk up and order service when we went, and the ladies at the counter were super friendly. Fantastic environment and excellent food!

I eat a LOT of salmon, from Panama City apple bees to Alaskan fresh salmon. The way they cooked and chose this cut is fantastic, the sear had a great crunch, the fat was marbled through the fish, and it didn’t taste at all fishy like some salmon can.

Great food and service, prices are very reasonable, tried multiple different options all was Great. Highly recommend 🤙🏾
