Riverside Mercantile

This gift shop was one of the best that we visited in Apalachicola! It was very neat and easy to navigate. The prices were good and the staff was very friendly! Overall, I definitely recommend stopping here and looking through their selection of different items!

The two ladies at the front are hilarious! I find cute gifts full of laughs and sarcasm for my family. Sale racks outside never disappoint. There are rocking chairs outside for significant others to chill on while you shop 😆. Shaded for most of the day.

This is one of my absolute favorite stores in Apalachicola. A definite must each trip. The ladies are super friendly and the store has a wide variety of goodies and gifts.

My new favorite store in Appalach! Found something new each time I came in. Loved their beach decor and their Christmas ornament selection. Even though we had a long line behind us, the lady who rung up our purchase asked if we'd like to come back in a few minutes because she wanted to make sure everything was packaged well for our trip home. So thoughtful! And when we came back, she greeted us immediately with everything wrapped up securely. Everything made it home in pristine condition. Thank you so much!! See you next year 😁

Loved this little shop. So many great finds. Wish I would've bought the cute sunglasses. If anyone can tell me the brand or how I can get them, Please tell me. 😭

One of my favorite stores in Historic Apalach. The store is deigned so well, so much to see!

I can't say enough about how much I love shopping in this store!! It is my go to for gifts, fun food items, and the jewelry is incredible!!! I will be back every vacation to this awesome store!!

There’s a lot of shops in Apalach but this one is super cute. It’s like Simply Southern had a love child with Home Goods and created Riverside Mercantile. Very cute place.

I think this store is so cute and they have things that I love. The woman that checked me out was so unfriendly. Not the first time that I had this experience with her. I live fairly close and like to shop local. That being said I don't know if I will return.

Stopped by this shop on my way back home this morning at 10:17 am for an item i wanted. Store was closesd lady on the phone outside the door just said sorry were not open yet and continued her phone call. I waited a moment to ask how long it would be till she opened but she never acknowledged me. On Saturday when I was shopping in Apalachicola I found that half the shop workers never said hi when we walked in. Is this just the way they are? If she is the owner of this store she obviously doesn't care about customers.

Giving it 1 star because store has a Very LOUD PERFUME SMELL. NOT A PLEASANT SUBTLE SMELL. I HAVE COPD COULDN'T BREATHE. PEOPLE WITH ASTHMA AND COPD CANNOT TAKE . MY FRIEND GOES IN WHILE I STAY OUTSIDE.

I was pleased with what I bought but gave them a twenty and only got change back for a ten. Feel this was not right. Unable to call them to explain what happened and I am from out of town.
