I was promptly greeted and seated, and my water came out quickly. After a quick look at the menu I decided on the Cobb Salad, sub carrots for tomatoes. Absolutely wonderful. The dressing was the perfect compliment to the fresh greens and the portions of bacon and chicken were not skimpy like other places. I could have used one more hard-boiled egg, but that's hardly a complaint when the salad was this good.

I'm always excited to share my wife's and myself experience at a restaurant. Here is a wonderful and very cozy restaurant that is very pleasing. The staff and chiefs are extremely experienced and very well trained. Our meals are extremely satisfying, cook to perfection, and priced within budget. It goes without mention that my wife and myself are habitual and loyal customer's. Altogether, bravo! Job well done.

Stopped in to Jackie’s Brickhouse Eatery. What a find! We were delightfully greeted and pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and charming banter with other customers and of course our French hostess and tv interviewer. We had lunch: French dip and a chicken salad wrap, each with its own special Brickhouse eatery twist!
Just a note, the sign on the building for the restaurant is totally faded, we drove around the block twice before we realized we were staring at the front of the restaurant. It’s small, but wonderful. Stop in and enjoy the food. We did!

Monticello is not our usual route going home from vacation, but due to weather conditions and debris across most roads we took, we happened up on Jackie's restaurant. The service and food we're top notch. Just what we needed after a very scary start to our trip home. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Nice stop not too far off of I-10 in Monticello. I had the Cobb Salad and my husband had an avocado BLT. Everything was well-made and fresh. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was small-town quaint with regular customers. We'll probably be back next time we're passing by.

What a happy place! Efficient, nimble, no nonsense service with fresh ingredients. After a warm generous greeting, you can expect, Johnny-on-the-spot, hot coffee refills with a smile. The crepes are made over a several hour process by Jackie herself using freshly churned butter milk. Worth the stop and I would gladly add "worth the wait", but not necessary since the staff is so speedy. 5 stars!

Had the garden omelet and it was delicious! Great people, great food, and never-empty coffee. Worth a visit (we'll be back!).

Best place I've eaten in a while. I usually only want a country fried steak once or twice a year but I'd make the trip weekly for this place. Just amazing all around!

Over the top religious decorations…not an all inclusive atmosphere but the food is amazing and customer service is above average. French Toast is a must and Veggie Omelette was very tasty.

The owner waited on us. Super friendly and kept my tea flowing. Not your usual chicken salad...very dense with chicken but good. Must check out her back hallway with its pick a number and see what scripture is that number.

This restaurant is TRULY a hidden gem, I mean that. I'm a huge breakfast lover and I came here on a Sunday and had an absolutely fantastic time. The name of this restaurant is really quite modest for how fantastic it is. The service is just incredible. We were seated quickly (and even got to choose which table, which I always appreciate) and our server was very warm and helpful. Promptly brought our coffee over. Then, a woman who I assume to be the eponymous Jackie came to our table and took our order. She sat down like a guest at our table and took our order with care. Because it was a Sunday they were offering brunch, and she excitedly relayed all the special offerings for the occasion. She is an amazing saleswoman, I'll say that! She gestured to some beautiful chocolate chip croissants and boasted that they had just come fresh out of the oven. Next, she said that she handmakes the brunch-special crepes herself and enticed us with promises of Nutella, strawberries and blueberries. It sounded irresistible! We ordered them and they were so incredible, just as she described them. Everyone at the other tables stared and was jealous, as she showed off the beautiful, literal 'silver platter' that she had finely plated the crepes on, even taking the time to add whipped creme and powdered sugar! We had a veritable feast before us as we also ordered the country fried steak with sausage gravy, and hashbrowns. All incredibly delicious! The hashbrowns get a special mention for being incredibly crispy and perfectly browned! We also ordered fried green tomatoes - My boyfriend enjoys them, I myself had never had them before. I must say, I'm a fried green tomato lover now! They even came with a side of what must have been homemade herbed ranch, it was unmistakably fresh and delicious.

The atmosphere was 'down home' and comfortable, a quiet diner sort of aesthetic with a counter with stools, half booths, and sturdy wooden tables. Laid back, jazzy, classical music was playing at a low volume, so you could hear those around you and hold a conversation - not always possible in a busy diner! Interestingly, there was a rather large gift basket on display, and as part of our meal we were given 2 raffle tickets to get a chance to win it! It happens every Sunday apparently, but only between 12 and 1 pm! You have to be there when the winner is announced. We didn't get it this time, but we will be back soon and try again!

Overall I would give this restaurant a 10/10 if I could. Very few restaurants are like this, where you can genuinely feel the love of the staff and have food made with care. The tip you give also goes to all the staff in the restaurant, something I really appreciated. Give this place a try, you seriously will not be disappointed!

This was our first trip to Monticello and we can honestly say that Jackie’s was a highlight of our trip. From the second we walked in the door, we felt like we were home. From Jackie’s infectious smile and energy, her sweet staff, and the “regulars” who made us feel like family, to the super fun karaoke Friday night to the yummy breakfast Sunday morning everything was PERFECT.

The fish sandwich was one hands down of the best we’ve ever had. And then caprese salad was fresh and the balsamic glaze was delicious.

For brunch, our omelets were stuffed with delicious veggies. And you can’t go wrong with the funnel cakes and fresh from the oven chocolate croissants.

We cannot wait to visit again!

That Biscuit 😍 I ordered a breakfast sandwich, so I could drive and eat. NOPE. I didn't even make it out of my parking spot. Fluffy inside, flaky top and bottom, and buttery decadence. Dear Sweet Baby Jesus!

Jackie’s food is always consistent, delicious and affordable. This place is a local gem and has become a staple in my family’s morning routine. Very child friendly and accepting of all people, no matter what. Everyone that comes in is treated like family and it shows.

A great little breakfast restaurant in a cute little town. Our orders were cooked perfectly! Some of the most amazing hash browns I've ever eaten, crispy outside and soft, buttery inside. It's not too far off of I-10 and definitely worth the stop

I really enjoyed my visit. The staff and owner were very nice and made you feel welcome. Great hospitality and a great place to eat with the family. I was visiting with family and the Georgia Peach Rattlers football team. I was visiting from South Fla. with family.

Very nice place, my boyfriend and I love eating here. Ms.Jackie is a great person and every worker there has very good energy. I recommend to anyone, whether you're a local or visiting. It's a great place to eat before checking out the towns thrift shops

Food was great. Friendly staff. If there are many people dining, service can be slow. Overall, I would recommend Jackie's especially for breakfast.
