Forgotten Coast Fly Company & Guide Service

I moved from northern Canada to the Yucatan in Mexico. Needless to say, I don't have any flies ho fish the Yucatan peninsula.

I contacted Kevin and told him my story and that I need some flies to get me started. Kevin said he needed some time to do some research on the area. I requested 12 flies of his choice.

Well, Kevin hit the mark.mI am now on the fish with only one fly use.

Great shop. Kevin took the time to show me some local fishing spots to try on my paddle board and hooked us up with Capt Spencer Watson. Caught some reds on my on and with Spencer and my son caught his pb red with Spencer. Awesome

Service was above and beyond! I’m just getting started and was looking to learn any tips I could on setting up my rod and gear. I didn’t expect to gain all the knowledge and helpful service I got. I was shown different knots, how to set up my tackle and several good spots on the map to go and what tips, baits, and times would work best for each area. Great fly shop with even better service no complaints, will definitely be back again anytime I stop into Apalachicola.

The Forgotten Coast fibers are absolutely beautiful, it looks sooo good words cant describe!! And the Yak hair I cant wait to play with.This stuff is the bomb.
