UF Health Leesburg Hospital

I absolutely love this hospital. Yes it is a older hospital but I believe that did not effect anything. Everyone from the security guards to the medical staff were kind and helpful. I was admitted to the hospital after my water broke. I was scheduled for a c-section but my baby had plans of his own. Anyways within 3 hours my baby was safely delivered via c-section by a team that was unbelievably awesome. I stayed at the hospital a total of 3 days and with every shift change I was happy to see the care of the staff was amazing. If I need any medical help in the future I will be coming here always

As a healthcare provider ( a doctor ), I must say the nursing staff and Charge nurses from the ER to the 2nd night shift floor were excellent. They went above and beyond to help my Dad and myself.
There was one nurse that was rude and immediately several staff ER staff stepped in to correct it without me making a complaint.
If you have one bad apple, it should not spoil the reviews for the rest of the very hard working hospital staff.

Brought my 98 yr old friend into the ER last night with what turned out to be a brain bleed. This was the best experience I have ever had at this hospital. Clint, her nurse, was amazing! He was caring and efficient. Cynthia, the Care Tech also did a wonderful job. The whole staff was caring, expressed concern, and made sure we understood what was happening. I have had bad experiences here in the past, but last night definitely changed my opinion.

Very impressed with the 4th floor nurses and techs and information passed between shift changes. Jorge, Alyssa, Annie on the 4th floor days knew my step mom needed a consult before he came in her room and worked on getting it placed as soon as he could. He was very nice and caring and made sure to make it know if we needed anything to call him or let him know

I am very happy to name Leesburg Hospital my Hospital of choice. The Entire Staff treats you like family. They are all great at what they do.

I couldn’t of asked for a better ER experience. I was greeted in the lobby by Eric a friendly paramedic who took my vital signs and Samantha RN checked me in right away and was very nice. As soon as I got to my room I was examined by Lino ARNP who was very professional and told me everything they would be doing. Layla RN was my nurse. She was very kind and kept me informed of everything that was going on. I am very grateful for this hospital and the wonderful staff that took care of me.

I had a surgical intervention and I want to express my attention received!!! since they received me at reception, the CNA who started my process!!! the nurse assigned to me!! Then the anesthesiologist came to do his interview and he was very attentive!!! Then I went to the operating room and all that staff was exceptional!!! my Dr. Mitra Mossaddad excellent!!! very grateful, may God bless you and continue providing excellent and quality service!!! thank you all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My father was there last week. ER nurses very courteous and helpful. ICU nurses more of the sams. Even taken tIme with me on the phone. Patient and kind. 4th Floor. Everyone. I visited in person and on phone. Meet with Nurse, Doctor and Caseworker and i could not have been better treated as a familu member and the care.my father received. My comments on the Leesburg hospital. Not all UF hospitals because have had the opposite opinion on others

Bailey and Clint in the ER and Mytisha and Richard were 4 of the best nurses caring for my husband after his heart attack and treatment. They deserve a raise!

Wow!!!! Not only did we get the best greeting in the ER but the RN in the back was just as amazing. Nurse Megan Ayotte did just what she was there to do and MORE. I appreciate the staff that was on today, it surely helped!

I don't get the low ratings. The staff is first-rate, and the knowledge of the RNs and Doctors was excellent. The bedside manner and attention to detail saved my Dad’s life. Thank you, Bruce, Paul, Millie, and Dr. Carrillo, for giving your best to my father.

My mother is an end stage kidney failure patient. She is notorious for being a hard stick when setting up an IV or any central lines. Sunday evening had limited staff available that are capable of using a Doppler. Mr. Patryk Lesniewski came in and was able to get a line in with no doppler and on the first try without discomfort.. Thanks Patryk!! For being awesome!!

flew all the way down from north carolina to visit my mom in the ICU. nurses there we amazing, attentive, answered my questions kindly and were not irritated. had the best experience and was glad she was in their care. when she passed the nurses that were routinely taking care of her on her shifts gave me a hug. will always be grateful for them.

I can’t say enough good about this hospital. I broke my ankle and came to this hospital ER and they got me right in. Every single nurse and dr treated me like royalty. The sugury went well and I’m home healing up now but while I was there the nurses and nurse aids, they have there are incredible. They made a horrible situation the absolute best that it could possibly be. Thank you for everything

I would like to say that ER nurses Lee Lisa and Alysha took care of me and my mom on three different occasions within the last month and they were awesome. The nurses on the third floor once my mom got admitted Shonda Patrick, Cassandra Orr, and Maria were awesome. We couldn’t have asked for better nurses. They were great!!

This was the best hospital stay I have ever had. Staff was great, courteous,friendly. Karen and Justin Rn's were fantastic. The staff made the stay very comfortable. Not sure where the complaints are coming from but i dont see anything wrong with this facility. Highly recommend

I went here for a heart procedure @ their heart institute with Dr Yellamanchi. My scheduled appointment was 7 a.m. and I had to arrive at 6 a.m. They took me in immediately upon arrival and the staff was great. I was very leary because I had never been here before but the soon sguashed all of my concerns. They were very throughal, kind, compassionate and made me feel very at ease. They made sure I knew what I was there for and the different out comes I might face. In recovery they made sure I was alert and made sure I understood what had happened. I was treated very well and was impressed from beginning to end.

I want to Thank the person who worked the lobby in ER. I think her name was Jennifer. She was very kind and helpful and a true asset.

I love this hospital. I’ve had nothing but the BEST care. Everyone I’ve encountered has been more than kind. I called the records department to have records sent to my Dr. The sweetest, nicest person by the name of Nancy went above and beyond to fax them. Very very satisfied with every aspect of this hospital.

11/9/2023 I brought my daughter into the emergency room from entering into the hospital the triage nurses where great, my daughters er nurse Ashley G phenomenal her service and patient care is superb , thank you UF for an always medical staff.
