Sid's Antiques & Gifts

Sid's is a South Georgia institution and THE place for antiques, jewelry, and unique gifts. I live near Atlanta, but always drive the 200 miles to buy fine jewelry or furniture from Sid. He often has estate jewelry and unique pieces you'd never find at a chain. Prices are always reasonable and the people are fantastic. My favorite store in the world, can't say enough good things about them.

"My wife and I have been coming here for over 20 years. This is a treasure trove of beautiful, period furniture, jewelry. Ceramic, Porcelain, and everything else that has fascinated us for years. It is like a museum of our heritage, without the prices of finest, high-brow salons.

Visited Sid’s today while on a trip from KS to see my mom... I’m a guy and prefer places which are sort of sweaty, but this place is truly impressive with thousands of very well displayed antiques, especially accents and dish/glass sets.

Wish I’d brought the wife on this trip, she’d have “loved” the location and setting.

Regardless, the ladies I spoke with were very kind and we shared quite a bit of friendly conversation.

Didn’t spend a lot of money, but they treated me like I had.

If you’re near, or willing to make the drive, it’s well worth your time...

Sid himself waited on me and it was a very enjoyable experience. Although the sale amounted to only $16, Sid took care of me as if it was a $1600 sale. He wasn't interested in making money, he wanted to make sure I got what I needed. Great service.

This store is beautifully presented. The great time and care taken to organize all the like items is noticeable at first glance. All of the clerks are kind and attentive, but they don't stand over your shoulder as you browse. A true gem if you are a collector of fine, dated articles like clothes, dishware, brick a brack, etc. A must see.

My wife and I have purchased antiques from Sid for many years. He is very knowledgeable and helpful when making a purchase. He carries good quality antiques at a fair price.
