Cod & Capers Seafood Marketplace and Café

We just left Cod and Capers and we had such a good experience we had to leave a review about it and let others know. Our server was Susan and she did a FANTASTIC job, she took excellent care of us, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and was able to guide us through it and gave amazing suggestions (we took all of them). We arrived to the restaurant before their kitchen even opened and from the moment we were sat she greeted us with a hospitable smile and was ready to assist us. We both work in hospitality and as servers ourselves we were extremely impressed with Susan’s service as well as the food. You can’t get fresher seafood than this! Susan you were awesome, we’re definitely coming back!!

Awesome place with super fresh seafood. The restaurant is part of a seafood wholesale business so their products are super fresh, diverse, and available. Service is also fantastic, with cordial servers and employees all around. They treated us like locals and made us feel at home. Will come back!

Lunch! When it's still season, I never miss getting stone crab! And fish & chips was so fresh, and extra crispy fries was the bomb!!!

We had a wonderful dinner. The food was amazing. Our server was rude and very arrogant. He made fun of the way my husband pronounced a French word on the menu. He was extremely passive aggressive - which we did not appreciate or deserve. Despite all, we did not make a scene or ask of another server. We tipped appropriately.

Best Seafood we’ve had in a long time; Awesome service; Mark was absolutely wonderful and was extremely knowledgeable. they even have a marketplace; ended up coming home with sushi grade tuna.

Favorite place to get super fresh seafood, especially stone crabs. You can find great grocery, and have dinner just outside the store. They cook so awesomely! Love to go over and over, remember to make reservations since this place is so popular.
Plus, they also sell some juveniles, serving plates, decorations in the store, great choice of good quality, beach style, you can always find some awesome ones. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Delicious food and attentive service. It's a bit pricy, but the food is above par in quality. You get what you pay for: beautifully prepared, fresh seafood. :)

We tried this place today for the first time. It was so so good. The food is so fresh. Great kids menu, changing table in bathroom too. Outdoor seating was lovely. Our server Camille was great. The marker has some really good looking food and gifts for sale. Can’t wait to go back!

An adorable place! Half market half restaurant all fun. Really good fare and nautical theme. They also have a little market which is enjoyable especially if you are walking distance to the area I could pick up a six pack or a bottle of wine. Great service as well!

The food was prepared to perfection. The unique idea about this place. You can look on the Seafood board and order from there, prepared to your taste. Please ask for Larry he is an excellent server with an electric smile.
If you are in West Palm Beach Florida.
If you miss it you have missed out.

Finally got to have lunch here,outstanding is the word.had the lobster roll spectacular!best I ever had and the service was amazing,and the best part is I didn't have to go to Bangor Maine to get it!lol.i will be back to try more of the amazing dishes.

We ate there yesterday for my husband’s birthday. The waitress was great and gave us suggestions. The food was so good. The best I have had in a long time. My husband got red snapper from the market and they grilled it simply but it was delicious. I got the lobster bites and they were very good. Everything on their menu sounds fabulous. I think I could close my eyes and point and be happy with whatever I got. The market is also amazing. So many varieties of fish and other seafood. We will definitely be returning.

Food is as fresh as possible . Lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had. Service was attentive and friendly.

Soo good! This was our second visit. The food is excellent. Highly recommend the crab Louis salad, the hogfish muenierre and the pan fried snapper are all outstanding!

So I happened across this place by accident to be honest, I happened to be in the North palm area with my boyfriend running errands when we thought it would be nice to find a seafood market to buy something for dinner. I live in west palm and he lives in Boca and we always go to the same markets but like discovering new places.
The market is also a cafe and restaurant within a small shopping complex. We were very kindly greeted by the hosts outside who welcomed us to either take a seat on the very cute terrace or head inside to market.
As soon as I walked in i knew I had found exactly the type of market I was looking for!!! They didn’t only have counter upon counter of fresh fish, but they also had a frozen and fresh section as well as a kitchen for takeout. Smoked fish dip ? Check. Filling for conch fritters? Check. Blini and caviar? Check. And they have a whole little retail area with such cute local made crafts like soaps, sauces, and then cute coastal inspired kitchen items.
The employees are walking around and are so happy to help! We were going to buy a fish dip from the fridge but asked and they brought us to the kitchen where they prepared fresh dip for us.
They have so many counters of fresh fish, every local fish you could desire, stone crabs, lobsters, scallops, and the people who work there are very. Knowledgeable about the seasons for each and the ça places from where the fish and seafood is sourced from. The woman at the cash was simply the sweetest. I had forgotten a bag of at the register and she literally came running out and down the parking lot to catch me before we got into the car to give me the products I had forgotten.
Other patrons were asking about cooking methods and recipes all if which the empires were so happy to provide.
Overall just a really great experience !!

Best place to eat or buy seafood and fish with nice and friendly staff with good advice.
They have special every week and fresh products. I love buying conch.
Last week I bought an alive spiny lobster we simply grilled it as usual it was delicious.

NOT only is the food the freshest thing I’ve ever eaten , but we came for the stone crabs and never had them before, our waiter jimmy was absolutley wonderful and would highly recommend him! Very personable and informative about the entire menu!

Absolutely love this place! I’ve been here so many times for dinner but today was my first Saturday brunch. The Cracked Conch Benedict was outstanding. They have mix your own mimosas and bellinis so you get the perfect mix you like. Highly recommend brunch, lunch and dinner here.
