Cathedral of Hope

The Cathedral of Hope is a welcoming, open and affirming church where all, and we mean ALL, are welcome. This church feeds the hungry, clothes the less fortunate, tends to the sick or infirm, and makes a substantial impact on the lives of so many within the community and beyond. This church is not just a building with four walls, this church transcends the walls and is a support group for thousands around the world as well that watch the online services as many do not have a church as special as this one where they live. The church is a bastion of love and acceptance. It’s the largest LGBTQIA+ church in the world that leads on issues regarding social justice, and equality for all, and stands up for ALL of humanity to include human rights, Transgender rights, gay rights, Black Lives Matter, and so much more. The church recently honored a group of human beings being attacked by the state of Texas; Drag Queens. Can you imagine? Texas is last in education, healthcare, and more, but they have to attack and marginalize Drag Queens. Last Sunday’s services honored Drag Queens, it was the congregations decision to show support and honor those facing horrific attacks against them for their craft, just for being themselves and providing a form of entertainment that’s always fun and totally harmless. The services were well attended, full house in each service which gives you an idea how this church can come together and rally around those being prosecuted to “lift them up” and let them know they are loved. I welcome anyone reading this review to think hard about what’s going on in the world. Racism, Hate, Bigotry from the less-educated continues to thrive, but, not at this church. ALL are welcome. Come visit this Sunday, 8:30am, 10:00am for the standard liturgical services, 11:45am for the contemporary service (live band, lots of “praise singing), and the 1:00pm Spanish service for our vibrant Hispanic community, and all are welcome there as well. Cathedral of Hope has been the best thing that happened to me recently in the past two months that I’ve been attending! The people there are kind, inviting, and so loving! The music, worship, and preaching is so awesome there! I’ve finally found my home church here at Hope!

I am very grateful to be part of the Cathedral of Hope! Grateful to know that this place cares for anyone and always helps when they can! They helped me realize what I am missing in my life and it was God and that’s the most important part Cathedral of Hope makes sure you have a personal relationship with God! Cathedral of Hope is a church family where the spirit of the Lord is. It’s a come as you are, no judgement zone. Everyone is welcome to come and worship God and fellowship. I love hearing God’s word here. I encourage everyone to check it out.
