Ocean Deck Restaurant & Beach Bar

This is a great bar and hang out, even for families with older kids. It was New Year’s Eve, and I saw children in the bar. They did karaoke, and it was so busy. They just blended in, unless they decided to get a microphone.

The “old fashioned” BIG Daddy Burger was my choice for dinner and it was SO tender. It was definitely a mixture of real meats. Y’ALL IT WAS MEAT!! The burger was huge! I meant to order mine medium well, but apparently I only said medium. It was a great burger! I did ask for mustard, ketchup, and mayo to make sure I got some since I ordered it to go. She had them put it on the side.

It just so happened on this crowded “New Year’s Eve” that a seat opened up while I waited. I opened the container with the bartender to check out my order. My to-go, become to-eat!🤩

So I happily sat at the bar and enjoyed the entertainment during my dinner!

It is an adult bar, but the little kids love the karaoke just as much as the big kids -adults that is! Hey they learn at a young age how to act in a bar🤣🤣🤣.

If you are going to hang out on the beach in Daytona, this is a great place to eat! Ocean Deck has been around 80 years, & it feels like home. Friendly service & gorgeous views. The tasty food is right up there with the sweet beach bum & mariner's paradise you'll feel!

Doing all first-time restaurants this Daytona trip. Bad weather beach day got us here for early dinner. Lori, our server, was an ambassador for Ocean Deck - personable, happy, informative and greatly attentive. Drinks were quick and the food quick as well. Clam Chowder was exceptional (should have gotten the bread bowl). Crab cakes were perfect. Three types shrimp entree was fabulous and an amazing bargain. Indoor seating rustic with bar and private party area (reserved). Expansive outdoor umbrella patio seating - all with ocean views. 5 parking spaces, but two public parking lots across the street. A must multiple visit.

I am satisfied with the food, service, and atmosphere. It was located right next to the beach, and it seemed like you could choose between the upper and lower floors. The atmosphere downstairs seemed better than upstairs, so we used the downstairs.

We ordered two main menus and two kids menus, and the menu name, Shrimp Shrimp Shrimp, was the perfect dish for our family who loves shrimp. We ordered a cheeseburger from the kids menu, and the bowl the cheeseburger was served in was a Frisbee, which was provided to us free of charge. The quality of the Frisbee was very good and we are still using it.

The live performance during the meal was impressive. We don't know his name, but his deep voice impressed us deeply.

This place is right on the beach, great atmosphere & service we only sat at the bar, but will definitely be coming back to try their food. The drinks were reasonably priced..

The atmosphere is open air and beachfront. We liked the two floor concept. The top floor was quieter and more family friendly and the bottom floor was open, a little louder, and a different mix of people. Our six sat downstairs. We enjoyed the live music, the wait staff was friendly and the food was tasty. We will be back.

Love this place, right on the ocean, great place for concerts on the beach. Probably one of my favorite venues I’ve ever been to. Also, the food was good. Mashed potatoes were on point and affordable. Very fast service too!

Lauralee and Savannah were incredible! Took time to have conversations, served us exactly what we asked for and gave great suggestions for drinks. 10000% will be back when we come into town! Best little spot! Live music too! Go check them out!

The gator bites were fantastic. The fish was flavorful and cooked perfectly for both the fish and chips and the Cajun mahi tacos. Nice welcoming environment, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Gorgeous beach views.

This is a hoppin' place! We were told we'd have an hour wait before being seated when someone let us in on a little secret: Go downstairs and get seated right away! And so we did just that!
The atmosphere downstairs was fun and there was live music with views of the ocean! The food and drinks were amazing! It's definitely worth stopping by! Oh, and be sure to take a photo on the oversized chair on your way out ;)

I've been coming to the Ocean Deck since 1985. It never disappoints, fantastic atmosphere, great servers, fabulous food and insane drinks... I love their Red Tide drink!

Great atmosphere and great views of the beach. I had the Caribbean burger, it was huge and so very good. My wife had the the tanker, the fish was super good. My kids loved their meals and loved the frisbees they got after their meal was over. I would eat here every time I come to the beach. Parking is a little crazy, so it’s a win if you are already there, if not prepare to walk or pay. I would recommend the gator bites. I would visit this place again.

We are visiting on our honeymoon and decided to pop in here for a drink. We had kept hearing great things about this place, and we were intrigued by the events they were advertising.

My only regret is that we didn't stay longer to try the food. We ill absolutely be back when we have more time!

My wife and I have lived in Volusia County for 23 years and we never knew this place existed. We thoroughly enjoyed it and had a great time with a friend of ours who invited us to dinner. Because it was our 1st time, we went with the clam chowder and the fish and chips. Needless to say, we were not disappointed with either one of them. The clam chowdah was very flavorful, creamy and cheesy. And the fish and chips was also good. We can’t wait until we go back to try their other dishes. And Dakota, our waitress, she was amazingly sweet and helpful. As she was bringing out other dishes for some of the customers she would tell us what they were so we could get an idea of what the dishes looked like and entice us with one of them. We were very pleased with her service and demeanor. Oh, and their prices are good and reasonable. We can’t wait to go back.

Had lunch on one of the vacation days here. Great place with an awesome view. We had coconut shrimp to start and they were delicious. I ordered the combo, fish, shrimp crab plate. The blackened was a bit too spicy for my taste on the mahimahi, but the cream was really good and shrimp tasted very fresh. My wife had their classic Mahi sandwich. She got it lightly blackened and it was just right. My daughter had fish and chips and again on point. I would definitely recommend and go by again.

There is a good reason Ocean Deck is world famous. The food is awesome.
I've been coming here for 15+ years and still have not had a single problem with the food or service. They consistently have some of the best seafood. But the reason I'm leaving a 5-star review is because today when my brother in law and I came in we had the pleasure of getting Jamie as are server. Jamie is one of if not the best server i have had here in the Daytona beach area. If you come down to the beach bar make sure you ask for Jamie and you'll get some of the best service you will ever have.

Fun place with good food right on the water. The downstairs bar has a nice open air vibe and the upstairs restaurant is comfy. The staff are all friendly and quick to refill your beer. Can’t go wrong with Ocean Deck when you’re visiting Daytona.

Amazing place to visit. Highly recommended by locals. We discovered it on our last night. There was live music, and everyone looked to be having a really good time. We were downstairs and were told that is where the locals go, the tourists go upstairs. The downstairs table we had looked out at the water, and there were windows that open when it's warmer. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Daytona.

Reggae dive bar meets fresh seafood restaurant. Great menu, great view and service. Will definitely come back!

We had a great time and ate some fantastic food at Ocean Deck! Definitely recommend this place for cold drinks and great tasting food. We will definitely return next time we visit Daytona Beach.
