Mikado Sushi & Steak House

The best sushi I’ve had in years! The service was wonderful. The prices were very reasonable. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Makado.

Absolutely love this place. I was scared when I moved here I wouldn't find a comparable place but boy I was surprised! The rolls are really good and filling. Try the Angry Jalapeno or the Kaylen salad with your meal! You won't be disappointed 😁

I’ve been to a lot of sushi places around the country and I can tell you that this place is legit with their fresh fish. I was extremely satisfied with my food I got two rolls and a beef teriyaki. The portions are big making it worth the money. I am very impressed. I will have a hard time choosing another location to eat sushi from when I visit.

This was phenomenal! Hubby and I came here for date night and we are still questioning why we have never been here before! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with amazing service. When the waiter found out it was our first time, he was very helpful and made suggestions for each of our tastes. My husband ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi, and I got the volcano sushi roll. We also got the dumplings for an appetizer and chocolate fried ice cream for dessert. The food was excellent! My husband's steak and shrimp was very tender and juicy! And I was able to customize my sushi roll to exactly what I wanted! To top it off, the price after everything was excellent! The bathrooms were also very clean and spacious (which is a pet peeve of mine). We will definitely be returning!

My mother and wife and I came here with no high hopes but we were absolutely blown away with the food here.from the moment we walked in we were treated with hospitality. Some tables are a little crammed but completely worth it. Thank you to all the staff.

Pretty great Calamari and Sushi for being in the middle of Louisiana. Probably one of the best calamari's I've had in a long time, fresh and fried well but not greasy. I got the Manhattan roll, flavor was awesome and was well balanced with texture. As well the staff was hustling the entire time, great service. The one thing I would pass on is the ginger salad, really no flavor just bagged lettuce with the standard ginger sauce on top. Overall great dinner, definitely will bring my co-workers next time we are in town.

Waiter Re (Michael) is Great at customer service. The fried rice and DA cooked sushi were tasty. I will be back.

I had the Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp. It was so flavorful! Was one of the best Hibachi I've had in awhile. Kind of spendy but definitely worth it!

Absolutely awesome sushi. My favorite is the hangover roll and the ting ting . Kaylin salad is off the chart good.

This is my go to spot for sushi. Right at the front door you’re greeted with smiles and a welcome. The servers are so nice and attentive. After traveling all over I was surprised to find a sushi restaurant on par with those in larger cities. Even better in some cases. I love eating here. It’s an experience and food all should have.

10/10 service. By far my favorite restaurant in the entire Cenla area. Our server Micheal Chen was awesome, really really nice and was very fast!

Sushi is still amazing, but they have suffered the fate of inflation. Rolls no longer come with soup, so be prepared to shell out another 2.50 if you want that delicious osumashi or miso soup. Amazing food, good prices, but the music is a little loud. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

Enjoyed a wonderful birthday meal with my husband. Everything was delicious and not outrageously expensive.

Hands down Best place I've ever eaten at. Waiters are very nice and polite. I'm a truck driver, I recon anyone to visit this place, Food Fantastic, I will be stoping here to eat. Also very clean and nice sit down.
