Mr. Chick

Mr. Chick's is beloved by all who live in and around Cairo. The food is great, always fresh and properly prepared. You couldn't ask for a friendlier people both in the staff and customers. I highly recommend that if you find yourself close to Cairo when you're belly starts to gnaw on your back bone swing in for some local charm and great food !

My family and I dropped in August 2023 while visiting other family. The food had soul and well flavored. Everything we ordered was delicious and especially the chicken gizzards. Two thumbs way up!

I want to thank Jason. I drove from Tallahassee to get some lima beans and when I arrived they were sold out. I spoke with Jason as he was making his rounds in the dining room about the lima beans and he goes to the kitchen and returns with a bowl of lima beans that was the last of them. Jason saved the day lol. Love me some Mr. Chick definitely worth the drive.

Went to Mr. Chick while visiting friends in Cairo, GA. Incredible menu and fast and excellent service from Rachel. The diversity of food was amazing. Their chicken, shrimp and oysters were fried to perfection. The ribeye steak was perfect with a seasoning that was delicious! Chick (owner) greeted us and came by our table to make sure everything was perfect. OMG! Was it ever! Don't miss this opportunity in Cairo, GA!

Traveling stopped for lunch, food was great decor very interesting. The big eagle outside my favorite. Thanks for a wonderful place to dine.

The food was delicious.The best snap beans I have eaten at any restaurant. The fried chicken was exactly 💯 like I love. Will definitely visit Mr. Chick again.💯💯💯

It was an awesome experience. The food and garage tours were great. I was with a group, and they handled it very well!

Didn't know they had crab claws. This was the cheapest I've ever seen them. 5.99 for a basket. I bought 2. Great steaks on grill nights.

Great food, caught them close to closeing time , but were very gracious about it and served us right away.

Very good restaurant, Fried Chicken Masters, honest full luncheon menu. Transforms into a Steak House at night!

I used Mr Chick for a catered event last fall, #100 folks, Prime Rib, Fried Chicken, slipper peas, collards, Greek Salad, Spicy Shrimp and Cheesie Grits appetizers, Peach Cobbler Ice Cream. OMG.

Best chicken livers I have ever had. I would give them a 10 if I could. My wife enjoyed a wrap ant outstanding sweet tea. This will be a permanent stop for us each time we are near. The entire staff was wonderful and friendly!

It had been at least 11 years since I last visited this place in Cairo, GA. It still has great food and service. Always fresh and delicious. I enjoy eating fish here. So glad it's still in business.

There was an incident that recently occurred with me at Mr Chic that left me shocked! I had placed orders that sometimes were not up to my expectations i.e. order included very small pieces of chicken or pieces of chicken that were broken off from handling etc - Anyway I complained about it. I only asked that the pieces be changed out. The next thing I know I am being banned from placing orders!!! 😂 This was quite ridiculous why would you ban a customer that’s unhappy with their order? That’s crazy! I have never heard of anything like that in my life. That is not the way you treat a customer. This made me feel as though my business was not needed and they didn’t care whether I came back or not!!! You don’t treat A customer like this!!!!!!!! This kind of thing should have never happened because of me being dissatisfied with my order! I could see if I had done something that was really rude to an employee or unlawful but because I complained about my orders a few times!!!!???? People expect to get what they pay for it’s just that simple! This
Is a good way to ruin customer rapport. It’s bad for Mr Chic! Your customers should be your #1 concern.

The recent incident was resolved!
The managers Wayne and Jeffery were very nice and professional in resolving the issue. They expressed the importance of good customer service and keeping their customers happy.

Fast service. Good prices. Chicken filet sandwich was great. Better than popeyes. The wings are ok...would go back one day.

Chicken tenders and okra are fiya!!!
