Nice surroundings. Nice people. Beautiful setting in pine mountain. Old roadside motel done well. Great price for the area.

Staying at the Valley Inn is like visiting your grandparents’ home. It feels cozy and retro and welcoming. Even though the decor and finishes are dated, the rooms are well-maintained and kept in good shape. So are the mattresses and the bedding. TVs and cable (DirectTV) are also updated. Reasonable price (usually the cheapest around). Super convenient to Poplar Place Farm (equestrian) and the sweet little town of Hamilton. Great late check-in/early check-out offerings. Wonderful, sweet couple that runs the place. Just FYI, the breakfast isn’t homemade or even a hot meal—just pastries. Overall. It’s a really great stay.

The room was very spacious for three adults and two small dogs. It was clean,.the queen beds were fairly new and comfortable. The bathroom adequate and the surrounding yard plentiful. The owners are a great couple who even checked on us during our stay. Highly recommend over the overpriced hotel in Calloway.

Such a clean and cozy motel! The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. The owners are also very sweet and welcoming! I think it's awesome they live on site! I most definitely recommend Valley Inn if you are looking for an affordable place without sacrificing cleanliness or quality!

My husband, our dog and I loved this little cozy motel! The owners were very kind and accommodating. Our room was super clean and our bed and sheets were fantastic! The AC kept us frosty cool and although the decor was dated, it added to the charm of the place. If you like going back to the 50’s-60’s when things were simple and neat, this is the right thing place with the right price! It’s proximity to Callaway Gardens and FDR National Park is perfect. Definitely will stay again. 👍😁

After reading the reviews for hotels in the area I decided to book a room at Valley Inn and I'm glad I did. The owners were sweet and helpful. The rooms were big and clean. We had 7 in our group so we rented 2 rooms.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. Very accommodating. Rooms were clean, comfortable (slept so well I had to find out what mattresses they had). And their welcoming ambassador Lady was too cute. Absolutely we'll be back!

The wonderful owners live on site. Their rooms were clean, had AC, fluffy towels, a nice bed, 4 lights in bedroom, a fan/light in bath, soap and shampoo/conditioner, an awesome WiFi, a HD tv with cable, sports and HBO, an extra quilt (the one on the bed was beautiful), amazing hot water supply (I've experienced high dollar hotels that kept running out) and on top of it all they're pet friendly!
It is an older hotel and there were some cosmetic issues (that didn't bother us at all), but I felt I should add that in case someone was picky.
We'll be back if we bring the dog (daughter's family is allergic).

This was a diamond found in the rough!!! The owners were the sweetest people! Simple, laid back and comfortable! The rooms were cleaner than any high priced hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t overlook this place!

I love supporting Mom and Pops places. The people were friendly and our room was really nice and clean. Could use a few touch ups and make sure the lights to the driveway are working please.

The hotel was nice and the beds were pretty good. I think the woman at the front desk is the one who cleans the rooms and they were cleaned great. My only concern was the tub it had some dark spots like dirty marks on the bottom. I only noticed because i am a super clean freak. If i go back down that way again i would stay there. The staff is so sweet and great!

My gf, her son, my two labs (the managers are dog lovers) and I stayed for a few nights in 2013 while waiting to move into our nearby log cabin. The rooms were basic, with wi fi, extremely well-kept, comfortable and very reasonably priced.

What really made our stay so enjoyable were the couple managing the Inn. You couldn't ask for better hosts. I spent hours talking, walking and just hanging out with them. They were extremely friendly and accommodating & made the stay very enjoyable.

Such a quaint little place. It’s like stepping back in time to the places I stayed at as a kid. It’s not just the typical hotel. Everyone is so nice and they also offer rv sites. I really enjoyed the whole vibe. It was so clean and I loved the rustic feel. This place is so cozy. I truly enjoyed the hotel and the sweet couple that ran it!! I highly recommend it!!

Great American owners. Very kind staff. Clean open and spacious double rooms. Plenty of TV channels. Grills and outside eating area. Great prices and maintained well. What else can I say? Just a great stay with a GREAT staff.

A wonderful place to stay! The owners were very welcoming and kind. Our room was super clean and very comfortable and cozy. Can’t wait to stay with them again!

Very quaint and comfy. Nice and friendly staff. Only 3 miles from Callaway Gardens. Spacious room. They also have a microwave, small refrigerator in your room and a pool for the summer. Suggest bringing your own coffee maker or instant coffee for a morning cup.

Our stay was awesome. The couple were very polite. We stood and talked with them a time. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again. Don't know about the coffee pot.....I am not a coffee drinker.

The Valley Inn will be nestled in the memories of the Davis family. I will not forget the simple kindness of the sweet couple that manages the inn. I've not previously encountered a staff so devoted to the welfare, comfort, and general experience of their guests. "Salt of the Earth" is the descriptive that readily comes to mind - good, down-home, and unpretentious folks.
The rooms are very clean and contain accessories such as refrigerators, microwaves, and DirectTV.
If you are curious as to the meaning of Southern hospitality; the Valley Inn will enlighten you.

My family stayed there about a month ago for our trip to Calloway Gardens. The room was clean and large. Nothing fancy, but a very pleasant place to stay. We were even able to pick blueberries in the yard. The owners are great people and helped make our visit wonderful.

If I am ever going near there again and need a room, I will go out of my way to chose this motel. I felt at home.

The only downside was slow WIFI which was no big deal.

I would have to say that our stay there was most enjoyable. The owners take pride in their place. Friendly and beds are so comfortable. A place that is away from the big over rated hotels. I will most definitely be back there again
