Mike and his team at Clover Wine Merchant are outstanding. Mike has an immense knowledge of wine; not just the taste and flavors but the history of where and how the wine is produced and all the little details that make wine so enjoyable. Highly recommend having dinner there as well. Great place to stop in and have a great glass of wine.

I visited Clover Wine for the first time with my husband, who works for the City of Perry. He had always asked me to go, but I was hesitant, as I didn't want to spend money and be disappointed. However, I finally gave in and took him there on his birthday.

When we entered, we were greeted by Lanette, who made us feel welcome and at ease. After a few minutes of sitting at the bar, we were both having a great time and laughing with Lanette. Then, we were introduced to Mike, the owner of Clover Wine who were both very knowledgeable and told us about how they started.

After hearing their story, I knew that I would definitely be back to have dinner at Clover's. It was a great experience, and I would highly recommend supporting your local small businesses.

This place is unbelievable!!! Owned by a sommelier and his lovely wife. His knowledge is unbelievable, I was looking at him with awe whenever I told him what wines I’ve liked in the past and he explained and had me taste wines I’d probably like. His daughter and sister and other family members also are present as it’s a true family business. Each person is incredibly friendly, carry great conversation and know the menu. THE FOOD IS 5 star as well. The lobster bisque, stuffed mushroom with beef, steak, filet of fish and of course the crème brûlée was the best food I’ve tasted in middle GA yet. DELICIOUS! They shop for ingredients day of and each plate is filling ! Best thing I’ve ever been recommended in my life. Thank you all for being here in middle GA and providing a boujee and absolutely delicious experience to treat ourselves with.

I think this was the best steak I’ve ever eaten, seriously!! This family run restaurant is so delicious and they really make you feel at home. They have a rolling menu with no printed menu. The waitress told us the 3 appetizers and 3 entrees. It was pricey, but such a great meal!

The food is food network quality. This is the best hidden gem in Middle Ga! Every aspect of this beautiful location is a real treat. The ambience is so relaxing and so unique. The lobster bisque, steak, pork chop & flatbread are out of this world.( I HIGHLY SUGGEST THE SEARED SALMON COOKED RARE!😋) I’ve eaten at some of the most fancy restaurants in the US, and this quaint wine shop has trumped every meal that I’ve ever had & far exceeded my expectations of gourmet meals. The bread pudding is a real winner & will have you wanting to lick the plate… while you’re there take a moment to understand where your food came from, and learn in depth about all the wines & champagne this place serves. Don’t be shy! These people will treat you like family!!!

Mike is the man! He is great with people and figuring out the perfect wine for every customer. Lannette is so warm and welcoming and gives excellent customer service and inviting you to stay and feel accepted. Mason is the perfect hostess and offers great service. Try out Clover, and enjoy the best food you have ever tasted. You won't regret your visit.

Had such a wonderful night! Came in for wine after dinner (will definitely make dinner reservations next time for your dining experience) and was immediately greeted by the owners. She brought extra chairs out for my friend and I as we enjoyed some amazing Conversations and drinks. The atmosphere was perfect and the owners are the sweetest! They even stayed open later than advertised as more customers came in. Will return!

I can’t speak highly enough of this establishment and experience. Lynnette and Mike define the true meaning of a service based business. They are truly some of the kindest people you will ever meet and the love and passion for people they possess is palpable in their business. Not only is the wine incredible, the food is truly the best meal any of us had ever experienced in years from any fine dining restaurant we had been to in the past. We are so thankful to have something a special as Clover in our Perry area.

Great food amazing wine and the owners are the best! Can't say enough about this place. Mike knows his wines, Lanette is the best hostess ever and their staff are the best. 10/10 would recommend.

Hands down the BEST dinner I think I’ve ever had. The cut of steak was some of the most tender I’ve ever encountered and the appetizers were PHENOMENAL! Not to mention the wine was amazing and we throughly enjoyed the time spent educating us on what we were drinking. 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent restaurant! Started with an excellent bottle of Cabernet! From the lobster bisque appetizer, shrimp and grits entree to banana bread pudding, everything was superb!
Service was impeccable! Owners very attentive and knowledgeable!

Today a friend brought me to Clover. This was a surprisingly delightful way to spend a evenly paced Saturday afternoon. I received a brief tutorial about vermouths. My tongue was tantalized by the libations and my mind was nurtured by the graceful explanations given by the owners. Thank you for hosting well spent and pleasant afternoon. To quote The Terminator, “I’ll be back.”

Micheal and his wife, and family are absolutely amazing. We met them and then decided to try their wine tasting course. We had so much fun and enjoyed ourselves all evening. I wish I lived down here cause I would go to every wine tasting. Thank you all at Clover from Zachary and Jose!!!

I now have a new understanding for what it means to say that a place is amazing and outstanding. Mike and Lannette have put together a great team and have done something truly surreal. Clover Wine Merchant is an experience worth enjoying.

Had an amazing experience here. If you’re in town get there and If your not make a trip! Knowledgeable, friendly and such a beautiful store! They help you learn about wine and love it! and the sangrias are the best you ever had!

Wine heaven on Carroll Street! If you are looking for an alternative to your big box stores, this is your place. Boutique wines and hidden gems , all at great prices. However, the best part of Clover Wine Merchant is the purveyors, Lannette and Michael Tomlin. Michael is a level 2 sommelier and loves to share his knowledge of wine and the story behind the label. Lannette is the definitive host, but don’t underestimate her proficiency of the fermented nectar. A visit to Clover is more than a stop and shop. It’s an experience and you will leave not only with a bottle or two but you will leave with an experience that beckons you to return for more.

This place is soooo amazingly awesome. Took a trip with my Dominos team and had a very great time i would highly recommend and hopefully ill be able to come again. The chef's cooking was amazing and beautifully prepared i really enjoyed it.
