BEST GUMBO IN LOUISIANA! Seriously, skip the expensive NOLA gumbo restaurants and stop by here for the best gumbo you'll ever have. Every time we drive cross-country we take a detour, sometimes 60 miles out of our way, just to get a few cups of this gumbo! I'd love if the cook there would share the recipe with me so I could try to make it myself when I'm really craving it (no good gumbo in Massachusetts let me tell ya!). It's DEFINITELY worth a stop, the sweet potato pie is also pretty darn good too.

The best Gumbo I have ever had.
The Boudin is excellent also and the Gator Sausage is off the hook.
So glad I made a stop here for dinner.
The place is spotless and the service is the best anywhere.

Has delicious home cooked food. Also amazing cheesecake. I got the cotton candy cheese cake and the muffuletta sandwich with cajun fries. My family got gumbo.

I usually get the grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. They are really good!

Natchitoches meat pies, sausage chicken gumbo with homemade cornbread, red beans and rice and cajun seasoned fries. This spread has me so excited to be home, that I want to cry!

Clean bathroom!! The food from the restaurant was really good too. We got gumbo with rice.

The gumbo The gumbo The gumbo! Get the Gumbo!!! Lol it’s amazing. I’ve lived in Louisiana 45 years and this is hands down the best. This is chicken and sausage and it’s outstanding. They have a sandwich called the Breezy and it’s amazing too but really it’s all good but the gumbo is over the top.

Amazing!!! We are so thankful that Holiday Inn across the street recommended Bon Temps----it was sooo delicious. We ordered E's Burgers on the jalapeno bun with bacon & omg----beyond fantastic.

What a surprise! Stopped to get some gas and use the restroom and took a chance on dinner. Everything is fantastic. Muffaletta, tea cakes, chicken salad. And the kids eat for 1.99 including a drink... and they ate all their food which is rare! We travel 20 often on long trips. This place stays in the map!

Traveling along I-20 in North Louisiana, and need to make a rest stop. Bon Temps, in Minden, is the place to be for lunch or dinner. Although this is a C-Store, they have a restaurant/deli and the food is great. This is not your typically fast food. This is Louisiana food with a wild flair. Stop in and Dine. My personal favorite is the Breezy Sandwich. And they have great gasoline prices

The people working here are Super Courteous, Super Helpful, they have fresh cooked food, dining area, clean restrooms, gasoline/diesel fuels, and near the interstate, exit 47. Stop in and check em out next time your passing thru Minden, La. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic food. Gator sandwich, red beans with sausage and rice, peach cobbler, pecan pie, all good. Wish i had more time in Minden to try everything they have.
