Holiday Motel

We took a long road trip from NYC to visit family, loud family members, so we really appreciated the quiet and comfortable stay at Holiday Motel. Our room was cozy and clean, the staff were friendly & helpful, and we appreciated the amenities: free parking, breakfast, TV, etc.... You cannot beat the price. Holiday Motel is very affordable, great value for your money. We will definitely go back there at the next family gathering.

This is a family owned motel. The owners are very respectful and professional. Its a budget motel, so its not a $150 a night place but if you want a clean room, fresh linens, cold a/c for a reasonable price, this is the place. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here the first weekend of October, 2020, in a newly-renovated room.

Really quite nice, with friendly staff. You can't expect any better for the price.

One suggestion for guests: The floors are tile, not carpet, so bring slippers or thick socks to wear.

They have DirectTV, so a zillion channels.

I'd definitely stay here again.

A wonderful stay

We really enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The front desk personnel were always friendly and helpful, the hotel was bright and welcoming, and the room was great! It had a good seating area, Spacious bathroom with wonderful hot water with great water pressure and plenty of towels, and very comfy beds. We never heard a bit of noise from the hall or other rooms. The room was clean and temperature easily controlled. The breakfast was typical fare, but was kept clean and refilled often. Good job.

My family has stayed here twice. Both times, for $50, I was happy and felt like I got my money's worth. The WiFi is a little spotty, but the beds are very clean, they have clean tile floors in the rooms now (a few years ago it was iffy carpet, so an improvement) and the bathroom was clean. Nice to have a dependable hotel near our kayaking spot. We'll be back! :)

Very nice older single story motel. Very clean rooms, fresh towels (and plenty of them), free Wifi, large televisions, complimentary breakfast, large parking lot, and very spacious rooms. Owners, staff and maids are extremely nice and very helpful. This motel is on the edge of town, so it's quiet, even with construction workers staying here for a shutdown. The owners are constantly "out and about" on the premises and this is honestly the safest I've felt of all the motels I've stayed at in my life. I can't think of anything I would improve on other than maybe a few more electrical outlets for chargers, computer, etc. near the bedside or dining table.

Im a day cab, semi driver. Was held up due to paper mill in Valiant having dock problem. I found this place from, motels near me. I called and asked about a room available, with truck parking. The man at desk was super friendly and told me to come on. I was pleasantly surprised with cleanliness and size of room, with all ammenities. Chinese buffet next door. $65 with tax. Made my wait really comfortable. Thanks

This was the best nights sleep to get me through the rest of my drive through to Missouri. Super quiet and nice dark curtains. Great quality sleep. I would stay again.

My husband and I are both students so our budget is extremely tight. We had been camping and hiking for the past few days. We were worried that a cheap hotel would be dirty and gross but we were so tired we didn’t care; however, we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice the room was for the price. The staff was very nice as well!

We, financially conservative graduate students, have performed field work in the Hugo WMA twice this summer, and stayed at the Holiday Motel both times. The staff members were kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean. My room was insect free, as verified by a thorough search before bedding down; which, as I'm a certified entomologist, I had to mention.

Clean, warm towels were provided every morning and at request. The housekeeping service was as good or better than that of more expensive hotel rooms.

We recommend this place to anyone looking for an inexpensive place to stay in the Hugo OK area. The staff are very hardworking and are constantly making improvements on the rooms. The person managing the motel is very friendly and we are glad to support his business.

This hotel feels safe and I would absolutely recommend staying here if you have business in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Clean and friendly. Free WiFi was a plus. Parking was great. Wide selection of candy, drinks and snack in the lobby. I've been to some really nice hotels before that only had a small and expensive selection of goods. This lobby store blew me away. I didn't have to get in my car and drive to a convenient store for a reasonably priced drink. I was just surprised. The service here can't be beaten.

I was very impressed by the very friendly staff.. even more so, by how neat and clean the room was! Especially considering how low the rates are! I had a wonderful stay, and the amount of southern hospitality they show to their guests is very rare this day and age.. and very much appreciated.

Nice rooms for the price. Clean and the staff very helpful. Tile floors are a plus as carpet gets nasty.

This is a very great place to stay! I work out of town and I needed a place close to my job and I found this place. Very spacious and they have little mart where you can get your pain killer and snacks. Great stuff and a very clean place!!

Friendly staff and clean. Stayed in rm 110 with no sign of bed bugs. The owners are very nice and keep a clean motel. Recommended to anyone who visit Hugo to stay at this low budget motel.
