It took almost 4 years to fix the mess the VA made with my medical records and with my disability rating, and Attorney Hart was fighting for my rights every step of the way. 1) I was excessively overcharged
for many very simple tasks.
2) My request was simple.
To fill out and file a DFAS
standard application paperwork for retirement pay & back pay.
This hasn't been done yet, after being billed $4,300.
*i was told by a third party
Legal Assistant that filling out a DFAS Application should have been a $1000. charge, NOT $4300!!!
3) I am not satisfied with what was written for added on explanations and an added motion. I only asked
for an application to be filled out and to be sent in.
4) The delayed responses to my emails was unsatisfactory.
I sent an email to complain.
She did finally email back, and she did not take ownership for her excessive charges.
She gave me justification for
making a simple application into a motion and writing added explanations, not needed or asked for. Then added even more excessive charges on top of already inflated prices for simple tasks. Like charging $350. for copying each scanned document I sent her.
Don't fall into this Money Pit. Save your hard earned money.
