Sam's Southern Eatery - Ada

I had a 3 piece catfish lunch and the fish was great. Perfect light breading and large pieces. Great bargain during lunch at $7.99 with 2 sides. Place was clean and service was friendly.

The service and food was outstanding!!!
We split the 3 chicken, 3 shrimp and 3 fish piece dinner.
It was PLENTY for both of us and we brought some home!

Our family enjoyed the food! The servings are large and everything is tasty.

The waitress was a little slow to refill drinks and etc. I think she might have just been busy in the back. We will definitely be back.

Decent food. A little expensive. This location needs a makeover.. we where only people there which suggests their business is in decline...

This was a great place to go! I hadn't heard of it, but we went for my mom's birthday this evening and it was phenomenal! The portions are way more than I expected which is great! There is nothing worse than spending money and leaving hungry. That is certainly not the case here! If you like seafood, go to sams!

We usually do take out here , love the fried shrimp and fish, sides are great , too

Quality catfish, delicious shrimp, and considerate service. I recommend the shrimp and red beans and rice.

Great food, great service. Ordered the 3 fish, 3 shrimp, 3 crab cakes with chicken gizzards as an appetizer.

First time to eat here. We are from Texas but hang here on the weekends and this place was wonderful. Great service, very clean, excellent food. Will be a regular place when we visit.

Loved, loved,loved it. The service was courteous. And the food was served HOT!!! (That's rare for OK restaurants.) The variety of southern favorites is amazing. The whole catfish brings back childhood memories of Friday night dinner. Please don't close down like the one in Shawnee. Worth the drive.

Went for our first time on an extremely busy Friday evening. The line and wait was long but well worth it. Really enjoyed the fish, shrimp and hush puppies. However, I found the fried chicken livers lacking in flavor and won’t order that again. Friendly table servers even though they were extremely busy. We WILL be back!

The food was amazing and our waitress was great! We are happy we stopped in on our way through Ada.

This is my local Go-to when it comes to fish cooked just right. Always a pleasant place to go. Clean and the folks working there are polite and professional. Keep up the good work! Go see Chloe. She’s the prettiest one in the place!(sorry if I miss spelled name)

The catfish was absolutely delicious and the cole slaw and the hush puppies and the French fries !!! Haley was a fantastic server. Highly recommend !!! We will be back !!

We had a great waitress and the fish was very good. It seams to be a newer location that needs some atmosphere.

Decided to go out of my comfort zone and try something different. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was awesome. Every one was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. I don't get that way very often but I will definitely be going back!

Don't let the location and tired facade fool you. Food is Excellent. I tried a platter with chiken, shrimp and catfish. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasty. Worth a visit.
