Monty's Gyro & Sub

I just had an experience here I so desperately needed. Hands down the BEST falafels I have ever had, the flavor and texture reminded me of my great grandma cooking. 😭 I absolutely will be back often. The flavor was GREAT and the woman behind the counter was so sweet. ❤ My husband and I are both so glad to have found this gem so close to home.

I have grown up eating here.
It's been there my entire 35 years.
It is what I compare all other gyros to.
The meat is standard gyro meat but they grill it long enough after slicing so the edges of the meat is crispy while the inner parts are moist and tender.
Their tzatziki sauce is great as well.
It has enough dill so it's not bland like lots of other places I've tried.
I don't get the pita anymore but it's good as well, always soft but has nice browned sections.
I get extra onion, extra tomatoes on mine.

The inside is pretty small and isn't anything special but has a nice homey cozy feel, maybe I'm biased because I've grown up eating here.

Go to Monty's if ever near.

Affordable, delicious, and fast. Great lunch spot and easy dinner to pick up on the way home. Gyro sandwich is top tier.

This was my third time to visit in a month. Their gyro platter is delicious. Their portions are very large and the small dine in space is very clean. I tried their baklava and it is so tasty. You will enjoy your visit. This might be my new favorite place!

We stopped by to try it out since we’re new to the area and it was phenomenal. Taste is amazing, they’re very welcoming. Seems like a cute mom&pop business. We had the Gyro, Falafel, and of course some French fries. Highly recommend trying them out if you like Mediterranean food!

I love this place. Owners are super nice and food is great. This is our go to place on Saturday's for lunch!!! It can't be beat. You need to give them a try if you haven't already. You won't be sorry. Everyone I know raves about them.

The portion size is definitely on the small side.

Monty's is just a little hole in the wall... but don't let that fool you... it is a "diamond in the rough"! My husband and I spent a lot of years in Europe and this is the closest we have come to the Gyros they serve there! Sooooo good! And the fries are delicious too... very European and the bread is fresh made! It will be a regular stop for us! The owners were so nice and gracious... you just don't get that at chain restaurants! Support local, family owned businesses!

My husband and I stopped into this cute little restaurant on a whim yesterday evening and boy are we glad we did! The food was amazing! We both got a gyro plate. The meat was good-juicy and had some crisp on the outside
It is genuine high quality gyro meat that I haven't had in a long time. Not the cheap roast most places.. Really good fresh sauce that was seasoned wonderfully. A nice salad with a wonderful vinaigrette. The pita bread was warm and toasted. Onions were sweet. And it was a huge amount of food! The place was spotless. Prices very reasonable. The proprietors were so sweet and anxious to please.

You will not be sorry if you stop here to eat!

Absolutely lovely people that run it! Then we got the food. The most delicious gyros you will have. I recommend getting more tziki sauce as it's bomb!

By far the best Gyro I have ever had. I have been to greece and Monte is Legit. The place is dated but you not there for the ambiance. The food is absolutely Fantastic. A reason to go to Moore. If your a foodie you need to check it out. Reasonable prices and delicious food. I don't have a picture because I ate it. Sorry 😞 yummy 😋

You don't go for anything else but gyros! They have the best tasting gyro meat I think of most places!!! The Greek House in Norman used to be my go to place, but when the people who owned it moved back to Greece, it just isn't as good. :(
Monty's definitely definitely hits the spot!!!! I love the Greek meat!
The only downfall or comparison to Greek house is they have a child's plate that's cheaper, so Monty's is a little on the pricey side if you're getting a full plate and not a gyro sandwich, but it's worth it. :)

I ordered a gyro's combo, the meal was delicious! It was a reasonable price as well. The woman who took my order made it fresh right then and there and was super sweet! This will definitely be my new weekend treat! 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try something new!

A hidden Moore gem , those who know , know this is the best authentic Greek made Gyros , one of the best old school delicious, fresh, and juiciest gyros I've had in a long time. I'm glad I stopped in and I think I found my new weekly addiction.
