The Spa at Sweetgrass

The Spa at Sweetgrass and their amazing team (Emily & Alyssa) made magic happen when I rushed in for a rush service to help with pain in my back and shoulder. Raymond worked on me for 30 minutes in the target area and I immediately was relieved of pain and discomfort. On a side note, the massage beds are the most comfortable I have ever been on. The Spa itself is beautiful and kept pristine. I plan to make this my #1 spot for deep tissue massages.

Worth the higher price. Don, who I had a massage with, was amazing! I am a competitive runner and so I receive a lot of deep tissue massages to keep up with my strenuous workouts. Most of the time deep tissue is super painful - which is good, you beat yourself up with difficult workouts and you need to get the toxins out of your body. I appreciated though he also incorporated lighter work to still make it feel relaxing. My only negative feedback for the spa that is negative - and provide —is the paint is chipping in the women’s bathroom stalls.

Yesterday I had an amazing experience at the spa. My massage therapist was Eric. He was so kind. He listened to the story about me hurting my arm and he took the time to spend more time to massage my arm. He was amazing. The staff up front was so friendly in the spa gift shop. Definitely returning every year for our company trips.

What an awesome girls day celebrating a friend’s birthday. All four of us had amazing service, and experiences. The management was so kind and attentive. The spa is classy, but not snooty. Vanessa gave an amazing hydrafacial with such attention to detail. My friend loved her massage with Ashley, G & another massage with Augie was just as great we are local and will definitely be back.

Locals from Mount Pleasant and Charleston need to be made aware of what they're missing. Best spa around! Almond with amazing prices for massages, facials and body services there is an outside private garden with a huge hot tub and beautiful areas to sit and relax. There are also cabanas that can be rented in the garden for groups. They have 2 areas to wait for services - one area has the most comfortable zero gravity chairs and infra red saunas and the other indoor area is by the outdoor garden with a kitchenette including spa water, tea and snacks. We didn't have any wine but we saw several ice buckets as well as single glasses pass us by. After our amazing (check prices in town!) Hydra Facial and best massage ever we went back to the locker room for showers and found a Vitamin C shower! The locker/shower area is large and beautiful. Everything was clean and everyone was friendly. We had the best day ever at this spa. Afterwards we went for a walk on the beach, grabbed an umbrella drink and had dinner in the area. Such a beautiful, amazing day and I feel fabulous!! We look very happy and wondering why we hadn't been down here more often. I will definitely be back many times!!
Just tell them at the gates you're going to the spa. (You even get valet service.) All of these free extras and we still paid 100's less than Mount Pleasant Spas. Can't say enough! Feel like they are under utilized so I hope they catch on soon - don't want to see them disappear. My Massage Therapist said off season was very bad for them so I'm hoping Mount Pleasant/Sullivans/Charleston folks will support this beautiful spa we have!

I had an excellent sports massage today from Jade! She was very attentive and knowledgeable in her practice as she hit all the pressure points I needed. She made me feel relaxed and very well cared for. I will definitely be back next time I am in town.

Lovely spa with relaxation rooms indoor and out. Spa garden has two massive hot tubs. I enjoyed all the drinks available as well. Blakey was fantastic! The spa itself is spotless and in great condition.

I had a service at the Spa at Sweetgrass last week and it was absolutely incredible. The boutique itself is extremely beautiful and very well put together and everything was displayed so beautifully. Perfect place to purchase a gift or spoil yourself. The spa in the back is IMMACULATE and a treasure I never knew existed. So many relaxing places to hang out and rest. I loved the zero gravity chairs and plunge pools. I got the hydrafacial and loved it! Alyssa was phenomenal and so attentive. Always made sure we were taken care of and enjoyed ourselves. Hard to find service like that these days. I will recommend this place to everyone. 😀

I was truly blown away by the hospitality and accommodations of this resort/spa! I am in the hospitality industry and it was so refreshing and appreciated. Beautiful place, excellent massage from Oggy!! My girl friend lives in CHS and I will be returning frequently. Thanks for the great experience!

I enjoyed a much needed relaxing birthday at the Sweetgrass Spa! Definitely time well spent. The staff was kind and courteous from the moment I walked in the door. I chose a hydrafacial treatment to get that glowing skin for an upcoming event. My skin is still feeling silky and soft days later. I added a little eye and lip treatment that was noticeable right away. Afterwards, I spent the afternoon relaxing in a cabana. It was the perfect oasis to unwind and enjoy some quiet time. Before heading out, I could not resist the boutique where I picked up some unique treasures for myself and a few Christmas gifts. I am already thinking about my next visit which will definitely include another facial and some time in the zero gravity chairs. I definitely recommend Sweetgrass!! Very refreshing and relaxing experience!

Our 1st couple massage. We told the woman we never had a massage and she was very nice and walked us thru it. Changing room was so big and clean. The couple massage room was nice and clean and relaxing. We both loved our massages and I was falling asleep all day you can use the quiet room with gravity chairs drinks and snack and 2 plunge pools. Great experience. Made our vacation even better

Celebrating my 75th birthday and decided my husband and I should drive to Sweetgrass Spa for a few days,4, and treat ourselves – and boy did we ever! I had most of my treatments with Sharon who was absolutely incredible. We had 2 treatments each day and each and every treatment was exactly what we needed. Again, Sharon was positively wonderful. My husband had Ashely for the majority of his treatments and she was also incredible. There is a wide variety of treatment choices and a choice of the length of time for most of the treatments. My personal favorites were the reiki and the vagus nerve massage. They were done by Sharon and were extremely calming and perfect for me. Oggy was great for the ocean recovery massage. My husband’s favorite was all of them!!! My last treatment was the intraceuticals facial by Mary and I thoroughly loved it. The entire staff at the spa was incredible. Very friendly, accommodating, professional and all around great. Always greeted us with smiles. The Spa and the hotel facility was perfect for us. Clean, airy, entertaining and some good food and drink. We hope to get back before my 80th!!!

I had an awesome massage here-the therapist listened to my requests for pressure and areas to focus on. If I lived any closer than a plane ride away, I'd return just for the massage! Sara and the manager (didn't get her name) were especially attentive in making sure our experience was nothing less than 100%. I felt relaxed and cared for the whole time I was there. I also had a chance to use the pool and the lounger, which were also great perks.

Lucy’s massage was amazing. She has strong hands and helped relive tight spots and I was completely relaxed. Would highly recommend her. Also the spa is beautiful and calming. The shop has cute stuff too. Highly recommend. Hotel spa prices but you get a great experience and access to the amenities.

While I was SUPER disappointed that my facial was canceled while we were on our way to the spa, the massage and scrub was wonderful with Oggy. I initially said no to coming back for the facial, but I changed my mind. Everyone was super lovely, except for the girl that initially called me to tell me about the cancellation. I didn't see her, but she wasn't very pleasant on the phone initially or when I called back. I would still go back. There were several relaxing areas. I enjoyed being outside and listening to the live music while I relaxed by the spa pool and drank mimosas.

My friend, her mom and I went to The Spa at Sweetgrass as a birthday celebration. We each did 75 minute massages. My friend and I signed up for the sports massage and her mom got the hot stone massage.

We showed up early to fill out our paperwork and enjoy some time with the amenities. The locker rooms had everything we needed and more! We each were given a locker that had a robe and slipper/sandals for us to wear in our time at the spa. In turn we then could put our things in the locker and set our own combinations.

The masseuse that worked with me was named Katie. She was so sweet and asked all kinds of questions. She was also very in tune with how my body was responding to the pressure. We chatted a bit about the pressure and she mentioned she was getting good releases from my muscles. After the massage I inquired as to what this meant and she happily explained to me what she was referencing. She coached me on how to care for my body that evening and the subsequent days. It truly is one of the best massages I have had ever! Highly recommend!

Once out of our massages we spent some time relaxing in the spa garden Jacuzzis. We were the only ones there (it was a Thursday) and just relaxed with tea and/or cucumber water. They did have snacks and alcohol for purchase but we ate lunch right before we got there and weren't inclined.

We had a girl's day at the spa and were treated like queens. Thank you Spa at Sweetgrass staff. Amenities are clean and comfortable. Staff are professional and provide great services. Plunge pools are a wonderful treat. Highly recommended.
