I can't say enough great about this place. It's a unique experience; you should go in ready to relax and engage with your dining companions and the cuisine.

Ah, the food. Oh my. SO great.

The bread. GET THE BREAD. Truly glorious, airy, perfect amount of crusty, warm, and perfect with a swipe of butter. No picture because we demolished it before i could take a photo.

The oysters in Marsala sauce was otherworldly. Phenomenal Marsala sauce in a risotto filled with delicious grilled oysters. Not a combo I ever would have expected but one I'll go back for again and again.

The creamy chicken in cobijas was my choice and I loved it. Cobijas is apparently a cheese? These were, overly simplified, chicken enchiladas with black beans and rice. The plate is a symphony of skinless seared/grilled chicken that has a delicious slight crunch to it, wrapped in homemade corn tortillas and surrounded by white cheese and what tasted like a green creamy tomatillo sauce. Whatever it is? It was delectable.

Everyone loved their apps and entrees. Service was relaxed, extremely warm, and friendly. Just go, you won't regret a thing.

Wanted to try the tiki bar that I had passed each morning. My sister in law and I popped in on a Wednesday night for top notch cocktails and a relaxed eating experience. My steak salad with fried oysters was amazing. Veggies were crisp and fresh, accented with homemade parsley dressing and both proteins perfectly cooked. Knowledgeable and confident staff and kitchen, and a great match for the intimate dining experience. Desserts are a must, I wish I'd taken a picture of the amazing bananas foster. Don't go if you're looking for fast food, cheap eats, or loud club music ... It's not at Cheryl's.

We've lived in Rockport for a while, and finally got to try Cheryl's a couple months ago. It was fabulous, and we have missed out all these years! We came back for a second time and it was just as great. I love everything we've tried! There may be a bit of a wait when they get busy, but it's so worth the wait!

A most wonderful surprise! From the time you step inside, the ambiance is special, the Staff and service was above and beyond and the food was exceptional! Enjoyed a perfectly seasoned and cooked ribeye steak served with steamed fresh asparagus. Desserts are made in house and change frequently. I had the Vinegar Pie and don’t let the name fool you…it was delicious! PERFECT DINING EXPERIENCE!!

My wife and I decided to dine at Cheryl's last night. This was our first time dining there. One of the reasons we chose Cheryl's was that it looked different and unique and boy was it ever! The atmosphere was very interesting. The food was very good and presented well. We loved the peculiar attitude of the staff, very interesting and different. We love this place and plan on returning very soon.

This is a unique, local owned, fantastic restaurant. The owner usually greets, seats & may be bussing tables. She has an eclectic selection of dishes from seafood, steaks, Indian, Mexican & more. The atmosphere is the same with miss-matched but cozy furniture, string lights across ceiling & interesting art. Service is attentive but not rushed, giving you time to enjoy excellent cocktails & complimentary appetizer. This is not fast food! Suggest you partake of the fried green tomato appitizer as well. We've been going here for probably close to 15 years and always enjoy it. I believe they serve the best fried shrimp. Period. Hits are also Jalepeno Mac & Cheese, Shrimp & Grits & Curry, just to name a few. If you like blue cheese dressing, it's a must on your salad! Parking is in front or across street. They do not take reservations so we tend to go early & no later than 6pm recommended. Also shout out to fantastic Sunday Brunch!

Absolutely wonderful… from the atmosphere to the staff… from the appetizers, the main dish, to the desert everything was perfect. This was our first visit and definitely a restaurant we will return to and one we will recommend.

This is always been and continues to be my favorite place in Rockport. The food is always excellent and the service just does not get any better. Cheryl and her staff take care of the locals and visitors better than anyone in town. This is a place you don’t want to miss!

Cheryl’s is a great place to go. Food is always delicious and has a great spin from the usual meal to make it unique. Cheryl has always had her own unique personality and it is displayed as you walk in so please be prepared for this unique characteristics of this restaurant.

It was a wonderful fushion place I think. But if u like different it's for you. Everything cooked well. Very handicap friendly. It is upscale place.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful evening at Cheryl’s this past week while celebrating the Fourth of July in Rockport. The staff, including Cheryl herself, were all so welcoming, the food was exceptionally delicious and the service was wonderful. They accommodated our 1.5 year old daughter so well and made her whatever she wanted! She had a blast dancing around the restaurant looking at all the fun art! All our entrees were so great and you MUST get the fried green tomatoes to start and the chocolate soufflé for dessert. We can’t wait to go back!

Can't do 10 STARS so... Never again will I try eating somewhere else while in Rockport, Texas. They made arrangements for my crazy "I want a steak and a fish" and wow! From appetizers to entrees, service, wine selections. Are you somewhat discerning? Get in here, you won't regret it. Cheryl's YOU ROCK!!!

Cheryl's is a unique experience you have to try. The food is wonderful and so different from anything I have eaten before. The chicken I had was breaded and crisped to perfection while still super juicy inside. My husband had the bodacious burrito and loved it! For an appetizer, give the dates wrapped in bacon a try - you won't regret it!

Shrimp curry is off the chain. Wonderful ambiance, you feel as if you are in another country when you walk in. Friendly servers. Wonderful experience. Best food in the area.

We really like this place. We’ve lived in Rockport for 3+ years and pass it every morning when walking the dog. Finally decided to try it for brunch with our friends visiting from Austin. Fabulous! Loved the food, loved the decor. Told the owner we had no idea such great food was behind that “tiki hut” look from the outside! We even stopped to tell the owner. Next time, we will go for dinner. Give it a try (not cheap prices; affordable for what you are getting). 5 thumbs up!

The best Hollandaise for the eggs Benedict I’ve had in years! Friendly staff and Cheryl has the best sense of humor! My French omelet and the bacon wrapped dates with Sherry cream sauce were outstanding! We will definitely be back! Worth the drive from San Antonio!

I really enjoy the Sunday brunch. My favorite is the Fried Green Tomato Eggs Benedict. While l normally prefer water with my food, at Cheryls l always order coffee. It is great! I personally put it in the top of Rock port restaurants.

From appetizers to dessert the meal, service and atmosphere was spectacular. We started with shrimp fritters and green fried tomatoes. The fritters were more shrimp than breading which were delicious. For the main course I had the coconut curried shrimp and my husband had their fish special Golden Tile. Both were out of this world. The flavors were wonderful. If you are not counting calories do not skip dessert. They serve bananas foster moon pie. Wow is all I can say as I rolled out to our car. Can not wait to go back and eat my way through Cheryl's menu.
