River Drifters

Great food, nice view. I got the inside out grilled cheese, pictured, and was not disappointed. My dining companion got a burger and fries with beer cheese. The fries are huge and soft inside like a baked potato, yum.

River Drifters is so good!!! We ate here twice in one week after hiking.
My son had the burger both times. My husband tried the Philly the first time and a sandwich called Fahgettaboudit on our second visit. I had the teriyaki, pineapple chicken tacos both times. My daughter had the Cowboy burger. Everything was delicious!! They have the best fries too!!

Great little roadside pub and grub. Great and friendly service. Highly recommend. Only had time for drinks but menu looked really good.

While visiting a friend we were looking for a quirky local joint. River Drifters was the perfect spot. The atmosphere was spot on being right next to the river and being able to sit outside and watch the boaters. The service was quick, friendly and helpful in making suggestions. Highly recommend stopping in.

We went on an unusually busy Monday night and couldn't be happier. We waited a bit longer than normal (per the staff, it was our first visit) but the whole staff, including Maddie were very attentive. We even had one of the Chefs come me out to ask us if the food was okay. They knew they were busy but they did a phenomenal job. Great service, wonderful food and an atmosphere I'd definitely go back to again!

Great location right next to Tennessee river. Often have events happening. Across from kayak launches, lots of parking across the street. Sidewinder fries are delicious!!! wings are big and cooked just right. Do yourself a favor and spend some time here. Well worth it.

Laid back almost on the river joint with surprisingly good food.

The child had an inside out grilled cheese with bacon. It was a grilled cheese but also had cheese on the outside of the bread that was grilled to a crisp. Came with a small cup of tomato soup to dip in.

I had the black and bleu burger. Two hand shaped patties grilled with crispy edges. Had a lot of a bleu cheese to give it that unique flavor, plus whiskey river sauce to sweeten it up. Delicious.

Wife had the momma mia panini. Had lots of gooey cheese and meat, nice lines from the press.

Overall really enjoyed the meal here. Would go again if back in the area.

We had the wings - buffalo and Thai chilli, they were delicious! Their house beer was a lager that was great - especially for $2.50. Really relaxed vibe with great service. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Look no further for the best of local. Great food, craft beer and friendly service in a very casual environment. The kitchen staff even comes out to clarify when they can! And yes, the best fish tacos are here, not California. PS. Awesome view out onto the river and Elder mountain

My fried fish was really good but my husband’s burger was the one that stood out! Super flavorful and served with piping hot fries. Judging from our food, I have a feeling anything you order will be good. An awesome & must visit spot just minutes away from downtown Chattanooga.

Everything was excellent the food was great the staff had the most upmost southern hospitality you can imagine along with the regulars that go in there. I'm from Indiana and drove by this place numerous times while on vacation but didn't stop because I thought it was just a bar until I googled it and found out my kids could go in and eat ! It was karaoke night ( didn't know until we went in ) so it was kind of loud but we was there for the food and the gator bites were to die for !!!! Thank you River Drifters can't wait until next year !!! Wish Indiana had something like this !

Was recommended by a local to try out this place while we were in Chattanooga! First time have blackened catfish and alligator tail and they were awesome! Highly recommended!

We came out of town best burger and tacos we ever had, better then five guys. And the service was amazing the waitress was very sweet and attentive.
And the owner came out and introduced himself. It was a awesome experience. Thank you.

The staff at River Drifters was great and the food after a half day of kayaking was the icing on the cake. We will be new regulars, I had the wings and my wife and daughter had the burgers. I would have posted pictures of the food but we dove right in and didn't get the chance to take a picture.

Great catfish, hush puppies were a bit spicy for me. Fries are the best. Karaoke was a blast.

2nd trip for Karaoke with DJ Pepper was again a blast. Had a Reg. Hamburger, fries and Chocolate Milton Cake for dessert. Delish! Hubby says their house beer is REALLY good! Trying the Italian Meatballs next time! Great service very nice and great attitudes. Added some photos.

Really good food. Cool atmosphere. Right by the river. It was so hard to decide what to order because it all sounded awesome! Food is flavorful and original.

Amazing attention to detail, prompt service, phenomenal service… overhearing others guest experience you can’t help but acknowledge how caring the staff is here about very little last detail on the guest dining experience - even with a full patio the service is quick prompt and accurate. 10/10 experience and will be back. Perfect Chattanooga spot to soak up some sun and chow down on some good family owned cooking. Heads up, bring an empty stomach because the food is AMAZING!

Had the breakfast burger. It was excellent. The Gouda pimento cheese, egg, applewood bacon. Highly recommend. The house draft beer was $2. Check came and I was surprised at the value. Left server well more than 20% because she was awesome. I will go back.

It is empty and their food is great the French fries look wierd but they are delicious the burgers are really good too and it has good decor it matched the style of restaurant. I don't give many five stars but this place gets it keep up the good work guys you got a great restaurant.
