Discovered this gem today! Had the Blue Plate fried chicken meal. Breading on the chicken was tasty and the chicken was juicy. For sides we had black eyed pea salad, blt pasta salad, and potato salad. All of them were delicious. Took a piece of the Texas white cake to go. It was excellent too. Really unique concept with the Blue Plate special every day and all the takeaway meals. If we lived nearby, I would be stopping to pick up dinner on a regular basis. Great experience!

A good place for fresh down home food. You can pick it up and go or sit down and eat it right there. Highly recommend.

They have delicious food for lunch and dinner.
Customer service is amazing.
I try to come Wednesdays for their Rooster sandwich or their Hamburger. Every day they have a different Blue Plate special of their delicious homemade meals. A must if you are looking for good food in the area. You can call to hear the menu of the day.

This is such a great place! My husband and I were taking a Saturday drive and we stopped by for a quick lunch and absolutely loved it! We will be back!

I frequently get the Blue Plate special of the day. It is loaded up quickly (three sides and a meat). Great value for $ 10 or 12 bucks and taste close to home made, never had anything bad. Large protions, and I am a big eater.
Large selection of deserts are delicious, check out the fridge to see all the selections.

First time there and we love it! Great food! Really nice staff. My mom hasn't stopped talking about it! Will be back! Really convenient and great prices!
