517 Subs

Was waiting for my husband at the doctors office and decided to walk over to grab a bite to eat. I was greeted by the sweetest staff and had a fabulous Italian sub. Very generous meat helping and super fresh ingredients! Plus, this is the first place I’ve found with real flavored macaroni salad!!! If I were in Signal Mtn more, I would go here for lunch all the time. Absolutely wonderful experience!! :)

Excellent! I love the subs they make and the staff is always friendly. My only complaint is I don't care for their sides. Chips are perfectly fine, but the potato/pasta salad could be better (everyone has different taste).

Realty Title and Escrow ordered a large sub tray and a couple custom sandwiches for a lunch and learn event at our office today and everyone mentioned how great the food tasted! It was fresh, inexpensive, and everyone at the restaurant was so helpful - from ordering to helping us carry our order out to the car. We definitely recommend 517 Subs!

The kindest people, the best ingredients and overall perfect sandwich shop!

This is a frequent visit for us, it taste incredibly fresh and nothing like anywhere else. The customer service is as if they were family, and prices reflect their passion for their customers. They have been the center of many on the go family picnics and lunches as well as shared memories with friends!

We have gotten food here twice now and the subs and veggie beef soup were delicious. The soup delite combo was plenty for me, even though I worried a little bite and small soup that is the combo wouldn't be. My son gets the 12inch combo and has plenty for later.

I was visiting Tennessee from Texas and my friend took me here for lunch.
It was delicious and great service everyone is always so happy and friendly.
Wish there is something like that her in texas.
Whenever I visit Tennessee i know where I will be getting a sandwich.

We had the 6 inch club and a 6 inch tuna sandwich. Best sandwichs I have had in a long time. When you walk in the door all you can smell is sandwich heaven. Takes me back to my childhood and memories of getting subs with my mother. The bread is phenomenal and the freshly sliced deli meats are just icing on the cake. We will definitely be back for more.

I love getting lunch here. They're fast, the staff is friendly, the bread is fresh, ingredients are fresh, and the sweet tea is delicious!

Food is always fresh, staff is always the friendliest in the world, and the owners (Russ and Sara) are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They bend over backwards to tend to your needs. I've been eating here since the place opened, often two or three times a week. Great variety, and I love their chili! Far better than Subway, but don't get me wrong, I like Subway too. I just like 517 better. Give them a try!

I never thought I'd find a rival sub to the Publix deli, but these are IT! Soft bread, on-the-spot meat carving, lovely selections of toppings...and that is just the subs! Chili, potato salad, deli pickles...just to name a few favorites. Thank you 517, for providing our community with such quality products and service!

Fresh and healthy food is always on the menu at 517 Subs. Today was no exception. From sliced meats upon ordering to sensational staff offering great service and smiles, you can't beat this wonderful place to chow down on Signal Mountain.

Sebastian is a clown. In fact I've been going there for at least ten years and can't possibly imagine anything happening that he mentioned. They are friendly, accommodating in every way. If you like pre sliced meats and stale bread, then by all means go to Subway. If you want fresh meats cut right in front of you, with fresh bread and the crispest veggies, do yourself a favor and go to 517.

Love this place it's ambience and service. Been going here for 10 plus years and I've never been disappointed. A lovely mom and pop Sub shop.
