I have been going here for over 6 years if not more. They’re always so nice and treat me to the best donuts you can get if you’re a recurring customer. Love this place and love the cooks/waiter,waitresses! Always my favorite!

Update 10/13/21 It's been over a year since I've had a Decent Hot and Sour Soup, the first time I tried Fortune House Hot and Sour I didn't like it at all. That was appropriately 11 months ago, yes I should have gave it another chance by now but haven't until today when I got a small bowl and two shrimp egg rolls (All Their Egg rolls Are FANTASTIC) Well this evening I must Apologize to Fortune House and the Lovely Lady who normally takes my order and prepares much of the food, She Works so Hard for All of Us. The Hot and Sour Soup was Delicious!!! Thank You Fortune House, I thought I'd Never Again Know how Wonderful a Good bowl of Hot and Sour Soup was Again in my lifetime!!!........I've stopped here so many times now, I've got my friends going now also.. This is Truly the Best Chinese Food in Hamilton County!!!💯 Stars... When You Find Yourself Wanting, Desiring, Thinking about.... It's Freaking That Good!!! Try This PLACE, The EGG ROLLS Alone Are Worth It but Try the Many Soup's and Dishes as well.. Everything Fresh Made and Cooked upon Order... It's Has Become My Number 1 (💯) Place to EAT.. I could actually eat Their Food everyday if I could afford too🤑 During a Pandemic😷 if this was the Only food 🦐I could get, I'd be HAPPY🤗😊🆒

Order on line which has worked well, as order always ready. Good value with large portions. A lot of items are a little sweet for my taste but that is common with a lot of Chinese restaurant food I have had in last few years.

I haven't ever had a less that perfect meal here, always made fresh to order. Very delicious, worth the drive to the top of the mountain. Clean & friendly staffed (their kiddos are doing a great job)

I've been eating here for 13 years and I have to say this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the whole Chattanooga area. They are incredibly hard working and are always diligent in their service they provide. 10 minutes from when you call in an order you'll have your food. 100% of the the time. The food is fantastic. They give you a very reasonable amount of food, enough for two meals if you dont eat too much. Best Eggrolls around, hands down. It's a place that's worth the drive, even if you live off the mountain. I live 30 minutes away and won't hesitate to call in an order every couple weeks. Give these fine people your support, they deserve it with how hard they work.

They have really good food, and the family that runs the restaurant is really nice. It is a family affair, and they ate really sweet. They also do a great job with takeout. I've called in orders several times and picked it up when I get off work late. The food is c always hot and fresh. The egg rolls are always cooked fresh, do I'd advise breaking it open and letting it cool for a moment before eating it. I love their wonton soup, I get my wife to get me some when I'm sick.

Oh how I wish this place was not on top of the mountain from me! Small unassuming outside. Small inside but clean. The buffet looked small and empty, but she said they were cooking. They would bring out small batches at a time but that keeps the buffet food hot and super fresh, probably the freshest buffet I've had in a long time. I loved the hot and sour soup. The buffet was limited but had enough variety that my family who all prefer different types of Chinese all had plenty to eat and really liked it a lot. I got motion sick getting to it, tried a different way back and it was still pretty curvy but better. I will risk the ride again to eat there but really wished it wasn't at the top of signal mountain and me in the valley! Looks are deceiving of this place, try it!!

I ordered takeout for my family. The food appears to be of good quality. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and cook of the veggies in my Kung Pao Chicken! You can see people in the back actively cooking the food so you know it’s prepared fresh. The portions sizes are a bit excessive but they make for good leftovers.

Their food is great! Some of the best around. I go there alot for there food.

Good Chinese food. I'm usually ordering for take-out, and they always have it ready at the time they give me over the phone. It's always packed to keep the food warm and to not crush the other items in the bag. Tastes fine to me (but I'm not a fastidious eater).

Cautionary Note (to others like Ed): There are sometimes well-mannered older children and youth nearby. They are always courteous, speak well, and are willing to help out the customers or the person at the front desk. Sometimes they are sitting quietly and doing homework in the late afternoons. This is, by any definition, a family restaurant. If the sterile, chain restaurant feel is more to your liking, there are a handful of other places in Hamilton County to consider (probably not Chinese, though). Or just keep going to Atlanta. Seriously, just keep going.

Love the food and it's normally ready to pickup unless they are slammed then it's a wait, even though the website says when it will be ready.

No matter what time we call ahead 15 minutes. $80 in food later its always ready before I drive 6 miles down Taft to get there. The portions are enough for a family party of 12 or 2 days of left overs including one vegan child and one weightloss surgery adult. Never a dull or burned meal.

We've ordered takeout from Fortune House numerous times and always a good experience. Portions are more than generous and ordered have always been correct. Their hot and sour soup is delicious!!!

This place will fool you. It is an older restaurant and needs updating. But WOW the food was epic. The Buffett was fresh and because they only put out a little at a time it's a much higher quality than you expect. We really enjoyed our lunch.

Seems a little iffy on the front, but may be the best Asian I have ever eaten. HUGE portion sizes, made fresh and authentic and served with a smile. 5 out of 5 stars for food quality and service!!

Great family run restaurant. Food is delicious. Service is great and fast. So thankful they have stayed open for takeout during the pandemic.

Child labor law jeez this guy. Food is good family is nice, kids are hard working and great students. They work hard as does the entire family. Never gotten sick or had a bad meal.

Has good food and a lot of it for a decent price during lunch hours.

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant! The food is always excellent, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are very good.

My family loves the Fortune House! Have enjoyed their food for over a decade. Delicious food, good prices. The buffet is great too.
