Signal Crest United Methodist Church

Signal Crest has been our church home for almost 2 years now, since moving to Chattanooga. It's proven to be a family-friendly congregation with both Traditional and Contemporary service offerings, robust Children's and Youth Programs, and a growing "young families" Sunday School class. We have been very blessed to be in fellowship with this congregation!

Wonderful caring people in this community church with something for every life stage—children through seniors—and worship style. Signal Mountain’s contemporary worship service with live praise band. Incredible traditional music, too, in traditional worship service. Newcomers welcomed!

Signal Crest UMC has been our church home since we moved to Signal Mountain in 2011. It is a place where our children have been baptized, loved, and discipled. My husband and I have been involved in multiple missions projects and ministries of the church, and we participate in a few small groups that keep us connected to other adults. A few years ago, we decided to spend more time at church connecting with other families and it's made a huge difference in our family. Wednesday nights are my favorites because everyone has a place to go and dinner is planned!

Signal Crest is the only church we know with a contemporary service on Sunday morning that meets on Signal Mountain. We have been members since our empty nest some 6-7 years ago. This past year, we started a small group for other empty nest couples. The church has been very supportive.
We also appreciate the emphasis of missions at Signal Crest. There are a lot of opportunities to serve both locally and worldwide. It has been nice to get back to our UMC roots.

Signal Crest became my church home a little over a year ago after moving to Chattanooga and attending the IF: Gathering. I have truly found a loving and supportive church family. I have enjoyed the Wednesday night meals as a time to fellowship and have been blessed to be part of the Wednesday night women's group. Stepping up and serving has been the best thing for me in getting involved and getting to know my church family.

I married at Signal Crest in ‘99. A couple years later my husband and I moved to the area. My husband grew up in this church giving us a long view. A lot has changed, the Crest Center addition and the 9:00 contemporary service, full-time ministry leaders in children and youth, and a fully staffed nursery. A lot has remained the same, fabulous music programs, mission opportunities abound, top notch preschool, very strong Scouting program, and a church family that really cares about its body and its community. There is always a place for you to serve and connect!

Great children's and youth programs. Excellent contemporary service. (9:00) Wonderful Sunday school class for parents of young kids (Leap of Faith). Our family loves this church!!

My husband and I have been members at Signal Crest for nearly 20 years. The children's and youth programming is wonderful, as are the music/choirs/handbell ensembles. The church is filled with warm and gracious people that have become our family!

We joined Signal Crest UMC shortly after moving to the mountain in 2004. It became such an integral part of my family's life that our teenage sons insisted that we continue to attend when we moved off of the mountain in 2015. They enjoy participating in the youth group and the youth vocal ensemble and handbell choir.

My family and I have attended Signal Crest for over 5 years and we are so blessed to be apart of an amazing church. We continue to grow closer to God with all of the different programs they offer.

Signal Crest is a loving, caring congregation. The church has something to offer for the spiritual growth of each member of the family.

This has been my church home all my life. Wonderful friendly congregation and worship services for all tastes. I look forward to meeting you at Signal Crest.
