Rockport has so much to offer, including this outstanding restaurant downtown! Everything on the menu was unique, covering seafood to comfort food, all while maintaining a classy experience. Cocktails were made with premium labels and the menu’s signature section featured drinks covering every taste preference. For an appetizer, the deviled eggs stood out to us by featuring shrimp and crab as garnish, which sounded extremely unique. Every course after that was outstanding and we couldn’t recommend 495 enough to anyone traveling or passing by. A big thank you to our Devin for the great menu recommendations and thank you to the kitchen staff for preparing us an outstanding dinner!

All can say is wow, what a find! We had such a great dinner here. Nancy our server provided first rate service, excellent recommendations and remembered our names throughout the evening. The food and service were outstanding, the atmosphere was loud and made chatting more difficult so I’m only rating a 4 out of 5. The Brussel sprouts are not to be missed, even if they typically aren’t you’re favorite there’s a reason why they are a house special. The black drum special was amazing as are the mussels, the grilled romaine salad was Ho hum.

Really enjoyed our experience here. The service was friendly & food was so tasty! Our little girl enjoyed the fish tank and seeing the cook team hard at work cooking up all those tasty dishes!

We walked in, and the place was packed on a Wednesday night. That's not typical for Rockport, so we were intrigued. The owners recently volunteered to teach at the Rockport Art Center's children program, and my husband is a regular teacher there. They made a wonderful impression with kids and adults alike, and as busy as they are with their own restaurant, it was heartwarming to have them in the class.

I'm so glad my husband decided we should give this restaurant a try. Everything is top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and asked us how everything tasted and looked. I can't ever recall a server asking me how things looked, but when your meal comes out looking like ours, it truly makes sense! I've included photos, look at the pork chop - a masterpiece! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, as is the staff. The owner was on-site and actively directing and part of the process. I have a feeling it's a fun place to work. 495 will be part of our regular dining out rotation.

I’ve been looking for a place like this since getting to Rockport a month ago. Poblano soup, an absolute winner, great flavor and combinations, the chorizo dust, crab, everything made an incredible soup where every spoonful is different. Did I mention I liked the soup? The scallops were recommended so I did, again absolutely delicious, at first I thought the balsamic was unnecessary but by the third bite I was all over it. Sadly, my wife is not a seafood eater and we forgot to order the chicken piccata without the crab. I got to bring it home for breakfast though.

The appetizers, devil eggs and the crab cake were delicious. I had a cocktail from the bar, a mojito that was very good. My entree was shrimp scampi. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the pasta was very good. We love this place and will be back.

Amazing food! Great service! Had the Chicken Picatta with lump crab and it was fantastic. Flounder was delicious. And of course the steak didn’t disappoint either! Crab cakes were delicious too but sauce was really salty! Overall it was a great meal!

I took my wife here on our Anniversary. The food was outstanding. Service was also exceptional, our waitress recommended the fried Brussels Sprouts. They were fantastic made reservations for Valentine’s Day on our way out. Only complaint was they knew it was our anniversary would have expected a complimentary desert, no such thing there.

Having lived most of our adult lives in Maryland, we were eager to visit this restaurant. We absolutely loved the brussell sprout appetizer. My husband had the crab cake entree, which was good but not quite a traditional Maryland crabcake ( too much filler) . I enjoyed the shrimp scampi and the bread pudding.

Really good good and fantastic service. We’ve ordered off the specials menu, tuna tartare, fish and chips and the fried chicken. All delicious, not a crumb left! Also tried a couple of cocktails. The Boulevardier was out of this world, highly recommended for whisky cocktail lovers. The only downside is that it is slightly overpriced. But for the location, service and quality, not a deal breaker!

Great food with a variety of appetizers such as carmelized brussel sprouts and crab dip. Drink selection is good with plenty of options for bourbon, beers, and tequila mixed drinks. I got the wagyu beef skewer and it was a perfect medium rare to my liking. Good food and good customer service, would come back.

As our local restaurants are getting back to a sense of normalcy doing what they do best, last weeks dinner outing was still superb as usual. The scallops were and always are seared perfectly nestled atop that rich and creamy truffle Parmesan risotto! We also had the fried chicken (not pictured/weekly special) and let me tell you, it was probably the best fried chicken that I have ever had! The crust maintained its dark and crispy texture and both the drumstick and the breast were moist throughout. Another thing that I have to mention that I do not believe I have before are the crab cakes (also sadly not pictured) which always come out hot and fresh! The crab cakes here are probably the first and only crab cakes that I have found that are not made of filler (breadcrumb/cake mix or an overload of bell peppers) and are literally cakes of lump crab meat that paired with the house tartar or not, are to die for. As always, it was a pleasure to be able to dine in again and see Chris and Kimberly work their tails off.. 😉

It was our first time eating here and everything was excellent. Our server was very welcoming and attentive. All three phases of the food was excellent; the appetizer, main course, and desert. Looking forward to the next visit.

This was our first night out since moving to the area 10 months ago. My wife and I were celebrating our 15th anniversary and chose 495 for dinner. We visited on a Friday night and had a lovely time. We had a bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape that was fantastic. We had the mussels and calamari as a first course. Both were very good but we enjoyed the mussels best. Perfectly prepared and the broth was delicious. We had the wood fired ceaser and the watermelon salad as a second course. They were also very good. We had the Wagu tenderloin and the scallops next. They were both great. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. We ended with the key lime creme brulee. Very nice as well.

Outstanding crab dip , shrimp scampi and service. We will be visiting every time we come to Rockport. We tried it on the recommendation of locals. We were not misled. Everything was delicious.

I don't like Brussel sprouts, but these were amazing. It's definitely a must try. This place is definitely a highly recommended place to eat. Drinks were superb, and the King Prime Rib was fantastic.

Came to eat when I was visiting Rockport. I had a great time and the food was awesome! The floor space was a little awkward because it was super open but that did not take away from my overall experience.
