La Suprema Mexican Restaurant

It's time for lunch after Sunday morning church. I decided to try La Suprema in Nederland. The Mini Chicken Nachos did not disappoint, more than I could eat in one sitting. Do not worry that you will get a plate full of chips with just a veneer of toppings, not here! This the real deal , full of the goody! Happy camper...😁

I hosted a family gathering of 14 at La Suprema because I’ve been dining here since childhood. They have always been consistent on the quality of their Mexican food and service. We all had a wonderful time together. The waitress was attentive and everyone happy. All meals arrived at the same time. Areas were cleaned and bused. Zero issues. Thank you La Suprema !

I came today during my lunch break. I was assisted by Irma. She recommended the flour tortillas since they were home made. They were great! I asked her for a coffee, she brought both the regular cup and later brought me a plastic cup. She said, “it will stay warmer longer”. That was so kind of her. I ordered tortilla soup as my appetizer, and for the entree the Carne Guisada. It had great flavor. The beef tips were perfect in texture. Easy to chew. She then asked me if I would like Spicier hot sauce, which of course I then said yes. Her recommendation was perfect over all. Attached are the pictures. Excellent service. Thank you.

I came and got 10 dozen tamales to take back to Florida. They were the best, haven’t had any that remained me of my mom’s. Won’t go anywhere else. Worth the trip.

This food here is so good. The salsa is fresh made and very good. The staff is great people. I honestly won't visit another Mexican restaurant again other than here.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Been around for years. They have the absolute best chile con queso and salsa around. Chips are always fresh and delicious. I love the tortilla soup and enchiladas. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Staff is always super nice and attentive.

Been eating here since I was a little boy so 30+ years. It’s no secret why this place gets five stars from me. Consistent fresh food !

They have the best tamales around. Very flavorful, spicy(could be a little more) , and moist. Their Chicken Taquitos are a favorite of my family. We have been going here since my children were babies. My grandchildren have all loved the food. Now I have great children. It's a family atmosphere.

Food was great service was on point and the drink oh wow great u tasted the alcohol in it not over powerful great

Food is always great. McKenna M is an awesome waitress, always has a smile and is so friendly. Makes our dinner time a pleasant experience.

La Suprema !!!

I haven't been here in over 20 years since I live in Houston and it was good to walk into a small quiet at home atmosphere. Food was great and service was excellent. It was such a nice surprise that the waitress recognized me from over 30 years of not seeing one another. Highly recomend and ask for Irma and she'll take goog care of you.

So sad to see all the bad reviews and fake complaints when you know for sure these people ate all the food off their plate. This place has been ran by the same people for around 50 or so years now. Three generations my family has been eating here now and never have had one thing to complain about. Amazing and Authentic Tex-Mex likely the best food in my opinion for the Port Arthur area. I always get the carne asada and fajitas. The hot sauce is superb and chips are lightly salted to perfection, I cannot stress this enough to the public this is not a one and done place, you really must try it for yourself.

Very cozy atmosphere, sever very attentive, food was flavorful and delicious, food came out hot and fast.
