Passed by while traveling and gave it a try. I was very pleased. Great food, big servings of sides, and fast service.

Best $6.00 two-piece whiting on white bread I've had in a long time. This is definitely the spot. Mullica, catfish, another fishing never heard of and don't know how to spell! Next time, the wings and tenders. There's sides too!

Made a quick stop off the road in hopes of catfish. They had catfish, tilapia, and whitefish, as well as chicken. We had the catfish with fried okra and hush puppies. They were absolutely 🔥. The catfish was thick, flakey, and lightly battered. Just how I like it. We would definitely return here in the future.

We was just riding through the city & decided to give this spot a try & I'm so glad that we did, food was hot, fresh & delicious.When we're in the area we'll be stopping again.

Absolutely DELICIOUS fish and shrimp. This spot was quick, convenient, and very reasonably priced. If you're passing through, DEFINITELY stop by for a quick bite to eat! I had the 1pc tilapia sandwich, and my girlfriend had the 8pc shrimp meal and both were absolutely incredible - possibly the best fried tilapia I've ever had, and the best fried shrimp she's ever had. Would highly recommend!!!

Where do I begin...first, I'm sad. Sad because I'm out of town & know I won't be back to eat at this amazing place for a while. These fine ladies made the best, I mean BEST fried shrimp I've ever tried anywhere in my life. So good, we went there again the next day on our ride back, planning our trip to make sure we pass by this place again to eat there before they closed for the day. Everything else we tried was great as well, but out of all the items we tried (chicken, seafood, sides), I would say our favorite was the seafood (breading was JUST right and perfect seasoning) & the best sides were the okra, onion rings, & tots (we didn't try the hush puppies bc they ran out). Huge respect for the ladies cooking this amazing food!

I feel compelled to post my review simply based on the comment below regarding service to "white" customers. My family has been to Ryan's many times. We do not know them personally and are new in town. We have NEVER had bad or rude service. It is a busy little shop even if people are not in line because they also take call-in orders. However I do not have an issue waiting on working business owners who are doing me a favor and making my life easier by cooking for family. Great food and great service no matter what completion you are.

This was the best lunch my wife and I have had in a long time. Wings, hush puppies, onion rings were great. Okra may be the best iveI ever eaten.
