My son and I stopped in to get a bite to eat. Because it was a week day, off season and gas prices staggering high, we had the place to ourselves.

The owner was super nice and my son racked up a game of pool that we enjoyed free!

The food was good, the ice was cold but most of all my son and I will always have a warm memory of our visit to the Lost Horse Saloon.

Friendly staff, live music at night, 2 free pool tables (first come first serve of course). The drinks were a little on the pricey side but still fair. One review says they will give you top shelf if you don’t specify what you want, but I did not see any necessary top shelf liquors in their selection… some card games and Juke box are available too

Great classic dive bar. The brisket and chicken tacos were amazing, the salsa tasted super fresh too. Classic Texas beer selection, yuengling washed it all down well. This place probably holds so much untold history and is truly a gem. A refreshing break from all of the overpriced cocktail and boutique places nearby.

This IS the bar you walk into when you belong in an old western movie. The food is delicious, and the staff is extremely friendly. They have a stage and beer garden out back with some adorable murals. I had the ceviche tortes and a margarita; it was like a dream having this good of food in the desert. I'd love to come back!

Cassandra was an awesome bartender! And their food was really good!!! Perfect for a late-night snack.

We spent Christmas night playing free pool, listening to awesome music, dancing and having drinks. Best Christmas ever! Ty and Diana were wonderful. I wish I had found this bar the first day I was in Marfa. VJ Mellow Arms really made the evening special.

Low key, relaxed place to drink and play pool. The pool tables are free.

What a cool place. We were starving, it was 2:45pm, they opened at 3. We waited outside and it was totally worth it! Chicken tacos were amazing! Guacamole was perfect and the salsa was spicy! Cool vibes. A bit pricey, but it's Marfa. 😁 will definitely visit again.

Neat little bar that embodies the Texas spirit. They have free pool and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. Their food selection was actually really great! Highly recommend the tacos.

The GUACAMOLE here is phenomenal. On the expensive side, but totally worth it. Best guac in West Texas. Chock heavy full of cilantro and tomato and jalapeno and onion. Incredible. Going to try and replicate it at home. Definitely a fave indulgence every time we're in Marfa! Cool dive-y vibes and a nice beverage selection here, too!

Great dive bar, wonderful staff! The patio is great, I'd like to return when it's warmer and the bar out there is open. They have a small stage inside and a bigger one outside, I want to come back when they have live music (or get them to book me 😉).

Super cool bartender, free pool, and they allow dogs which just makes the whole thing that much better.

I passed through Marfa without doing anything "touristy"; however, I did stop into this bar on recommendation of a few friends. I was pleasantly surprised. The bartender, Yvonne, was very warm and attentive. The drinks were great The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Definitely stop in on a late night and bring your pool game face, tables are free.

I wasn't planning on coming here because it was marked as Temporarily Closed, but I walked by last night and they are open from 4pm-12am outside on the patio! There was almost no one there, but had a great Hatch Chile burger and chatted with the bartender and cook for a bit. Great place, great vibes, great food, great people.

Very nice place for a beer and food. We had brisket street tacos, bbq sandwich, and a couple of beers. Had to leave before they did karaoke. Which was probably a good thing for them.

First night of the new food menu. We really enjoyed the burger, heard the taco is amazing and they were out of the dessert by the time we arrived. If hungry after nine, they serve until 11. The drinks are also totally well prices and it's dog friendly!!!!

Decently priced drinks, one of two places in town that has a liquor license (for more than beer or wine). Service could be faster but the lag gives you time to take the place in. It smells like hay and leather, it's not a pretentious place and the live music was great! There are two outdoor bars too, which looked cool.

Few places open for weekday lunch in Marfa so I was very happy not just to find them but taste the brisket street tacos. Delicious! Among the best I have had in Texas.
I hope the Marfa chamber of commerce will help the owner get his liquor license. Support local business — and I’m a tourist from California.
