The owner, who was friendly and welcoming, had taken the time to teach our kids how soap is made at the workshop - a rustic building behind the store that shares a courtyard with a coffee shop. The kids were blown away by the attention to detail and craftsmanship. The owner was on hand to answer all of the kids' questions about the soap making process. It was a truly delightful and unique experience that they won't forget.

In addition to the soap, the shop also featured a variety of arts and crafts made by local artists. We were impressed by the talent and creativity on display, and we left with a few special pieces to add to our collection.

Overall, we had a fantastic time at Marfa Brand Soap Co. and highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Not only are the soaps top-notch, but the personal touch and support of local artisans make this place truly special.

Really enjoyed this place and the staff was a lot of fun to chat with. Soaps smell incredible and so does the incense! Bought the incense sampler, multiple soaps but really excited about the Turkish towels!

Love their handmade soap bars. They also have lovely soap bar holders. The white tea bar and yucca root bar smell so amazing.

I have been buying soap from Marfa Brands for over 6 years. From the presentation/packaging to the price, I've yet to find anything on the market that I feel is comparable. My go-to is the campfire scent - it's 'smoky', sure, but it's really quite subtle (and obviously quite wonderful). That said, at this point, I've tried every soap Marfa Brands offers and there hasn't been anything I'd avoid - it really comes down to personal taste (or smell, rather). This is a wonderful store, run by a great person (who, incidentally, I met recently on a trip to Marfa and she's just as great in person) selling amazing products. Can't really ask for much more.

I was in your store a couple years ago and bought your soaps, I am in my last one. The one that I liked the most is the shampoo bar. No long time ago I went to the dermatologist and I found out I am allergic to all the comercial shampoos so, I tried your bar and works wonderfully for my scalp. I am recommending this shampoo bar for my boss' daughter as she has the same problem like me, she has problems with her scalp, is itchy and has grown small scales. (by the way, she is not the only person that I have heard has this problem)
Once I stopped using all shampoos and conditioners, including hair products, my scalp healed and my face is not longer red and inflamed. All because of the chemicals of the commercial shampoo!
Yours is perfect to be able to be used daily, it cleans and leaves hair light and with no perfumes but the natural from the soap. I tried to make some castilla soap, and despite it was very good too, I rather prefer yours which is more gentle with my hair and has more bubbles!

Stopped in while on a road trip last year. Bought some handmade body butter that has become my absolute favorite lotion. I'd really like to get some more, but its not on the website, and I can't seem to find a phone number for this place/company anywhere.
