We enjoyed looking at all the gift items. I bought a few gift items and a pumpkin for myself.
It was nice to see where they were made.

This place is pretty cool. I spent a bit here.lol. you can watch glass blown friendship/ornaments being made. There is plenty to look at and buy. If you like ornate and cool glass definitely a place to stop. I didn't take any photos. I was too excited.

Fantastic large museum of glass works from local and neighboring glass factory's. Staff friendly and courteous, admission is free but please leave a donation.

Visited as part of a local tour. Todd did the demonstrating and was very personable and informative. He definitely has a passion for the glass industry both past and present as well as his families place in that history. The demonstration was top notch and Todd demonstrated several types of ways to blow glass. Afterwards, he was great at answering questions from the crowd. The store is well stocked with a variety of blown glass gifts made on-site. Not only do they have one of a kind works but they also do customization. Well worth the stop!

If you love glass blowing it worth your stop. you can sit and watch the glass items being made. Shopping in the store is wonderful and employees were helpful and smiling the whole time.

Todd and his dad are great people that provide an awesome service to the community and create beautiful glasswear right before the publics eyes keeping the art of glassblowing alive!

This shop is one of the oldest production hot shops in USA. The artisan Todd Turner is a 3rd generation hot shop worker/ glass artist. He makes the family recipe of batch cullet in house with ingredients from west virginia. This is a true American, and a testament to a successful generational family business. Aside from live glass it is a museum of sorts as well as an extensive gift shop with very affordable pricing for any budget.

A true gem, a reason to wander around northern west virginia. The town he is in is one of the historical records of USA. It was the glass capital of the west before Corning was even an idea.

Very nice shop. Watched the owner actually make an ornament and a hummingbird feeder. He spoke of the history of the store and how each piece is made. Everyone was very polite and friendly.

Loved my visit, the family that owns it are all very helpful and Duke ( the Golden retreiver) will give you dog 💋 kisses. They have a great selection of hand blown glass as well as other unique pieces. They are making some custom items for me and I'm anticipating seeing the finished product. You won't be disappointed if you visit!!

Everyone should go see their glass blowing demonstration. Great gifts sold there, very unique. Beautiful glass ball that has a light built in.

This place is awesome! Todd was super informative and we loved watching him work. Definitely a great place to visit if you are in the area.

This is a great place to bring yourself and your kids and learn the history of glass blowing. They have a gift shop ( and have a web presence for those of you out of area) with all sorts of handmade items. Made in the USA, in Weston WV. The Turner family has passed down the glass blowing tradition from grandfather on down. They demonstrate how they make the things that they sell and have stemware too!

Loved the glass blowing demonstration along with learning about the glass industry in this area. Beautiful creations for sale too. Highly recommend this place. Beware there are a lot of breakable items in this place.

My husband took me to this place for our 5th anniversary 💕 and it was an amazing experience. The guy that made our piece was very nice and knowledgeable of his job. And made it a great time for us, his name was Todd. 😀 so if your around weston don't miss stopping by. You won't regret it.

Had a great visit to Appalachian Glass. The craftsman creating the glassware are accessible and eager to share their knowledge. There is a laid back and open atmosphere with an area to watch the craftsmen create pieces. Beautiful creations and accessible information. They also recommended a trip downtown to the Museum of American Glassware which was great as well. Definitely stop if you are in the area!
