Country Sunset RV Park

We called the same day for an overnight and I spoke to Kourtney who is amazing! Helped with all my questions and was very friendly. I would stay again and I would recommend this location to friends and family as well. I have a class A motor home pulling a car and was able to park with enough space for my second car plus I had full hook up with no issues and surprisingly enough the internet was great :) love this place! Two large dogs that have a field to utilize. :D laundry service for us to use as well which was very clean.

We stayed here for one night a couple of weeks ago on our way back from a trip out west. This RV park provides good level parking bays, is well run and tidy. The laundry room is spotlessly clean and FREE! Overall this park is a welcome respite from the interstate and our host Kourtney couldn’t be more kind and helpful.

Kourtney is so wonderful and helpful. She agreed to store my travel trailer even though they had no available spaces. I lived at country sunset park from Oct 2022 to May 2023. Peaceful park with nice residents, free laundromat and cattle/horses as neighbors. Thank you Kourtney for a pleasant "snowbird" stay. Thumbs 👍

Staying here has been a great experience. Kids are welcome to play outside and be kids. Pets are even welcome. They are in the process of getting a dog run and play stuff for kids, it is a brand new campground, so with all that's going to go on I think it would be a perfect spot for families to come and have a good time. The laundromat is very clean. They have a great outside area for everyone to use, to BBQ or just chill with friends. Horseshoe pit is the perfect size for family fun. The owners of the campground make the stay incredible. They are very helpful and very pleasant to be around. You need anything just let them know if they don't know they will definitely find the information out for you. I know this will be a spot I would love to return to.

Great place to stay in Panhandle, TX. The owners are wonderful people and they are constantly maintaining the grounds. Everything is very clean and well kept. Our children enjoyed the playground and we enjoyed sitting on the porch swing while watching the longhorns in the pasture next door. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I have traveled in our RV approximately 8 months out of the year for the last 4 years. Our extended stay here this spring will likely be my favorite of 2015. I love the openness and beautiful views. The facilities are great and the owners are awesome. The laundry room, machines, grills, play/pet areas and landscape are all in great shape. Everything is nice and neat. I have not stayed in an RV park with a better WiFi. Many thumbs up. Thank you for your kindness. <3 KJ

The owner/manager of this park and his wife are amazing people. Very friendly and does a great job at maintaining the park for his guests. He has provided plenty of areas out side to sit and relax and you simply can not beat free laundry!

Nice, well maintained, little park and the price is right! Level gravel sites, utilities work great! Owner, Steve, is very pleasant and helpful. Long term residents keep their sites neat and the ones we have met are very friendly. There is a covered area with grills, tables, and a horseshoe pit. Free, and clean as can be laundry facilities! We planned to stay one night...maybe two, but Steve told us about Palo Duro Canyon State Park which is only about an hour away. We're going to make it a three night stay!
One caution, if you're a really light sleeper this probably isn't the place for you. Trains roll through all night. Didn't bother us a bit. 😊

We stayed at this rv park for 7 months. The owners Steve and Susan are amazing people. They went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. We stayed with our 2 kids and a dog and they were very welcoming. Our kids were so comfortable my 4 year old would run up and hug Steve every time she saw him. If we are ever in the area again we will absolutely stay here.

Very nice owner makes you feel welcome, awesome wifi, even though it’s close to other rvs it’s quiet, loved the free laundry, very clean and great playground area

I stayed here for about 2 months while working in the area. Great place. Steve and his wife are great. The park is very well kept, safe, plenty of space, free laundry, dog runs, and free bbq grills. Very peaceful and clean. Although the trains are close you get used to them. I would go out of my way to stay here again!

The owner Steve is such a wonderful person and a delight to rent from! He really works to make your setup and stay a pleasure. Everything I love about Texans ❤
The park is meticulously maintained with a covered BBQ area, SPOTLESS laundry room (free!!), high speed wi-fi, a dog run, and play yard for children.
The extended stay tenants are friendly and courteous.
Panhandle is a sweet bitty town where the pharmacy is home to an old fashioned soda fountain and the streets are safe. All of this so close to Amarillo!

Wonderful playground for the kids, pet friendly, BBQ area, laundromat is very clean and it’s FREE. WiFi signal is AWESOME! Beautiful views of the country, Rv spots are very leveled, campground is very clean and well maintained. We have a 5th wheel with 5 slides and it’s 43ft long. Plenty room to park!

I can’t speak to the park, but I can speak about the owners. Steve and Susan Reynolds are amazing people!! We were passing through Panhandle when we had some RV trouble. We just passed the park and thought to ask the owners for a recommendation. Steve and Susan went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to keep moving. They were so gracious and helpful!! Based on who they are and how they helped us, we would absolutely stay at the park. Thank you again, Steve & Susan!

We needed an EV charge to make it a bit further to our destination, and they very kindly let us charge for free! Nice playground, clean facilities.

We just stayed one night the end of July and we had the end site so we could look out at the fields and some really large beautiful homes. (there's some money here in Panhandle) Super nice young lady stopped by to greet us after we did the self check in. Doubt we'll ever be in Panhandle again but if we are we'd stay here again for sure.

Steve and Susan embody southern hospitality. They are genuinely AWESOME people and after staying in their RV park for three months, would whole heartedly recommend them.

Very clean, very attentive to needs. Laundry services free and a big plus. Prices very reasonable. Second visit while in this area. Very happy!!!
