For one of the best experiences in healthy home cooked meals you have to stop off in Wetumpka at the Woodcraft Cafe.. This is home cooking done right.
This cafe is heads and shoulders from any I've been .. did I mentioned the desserts OMGOODNESS!! simply delicious!! Everything is cooked and made with love .. and you can taste it ..
I stopped by on Friday and had fried catfish cabbage red potatoes and hush puppies ( and of course peach tea ).. and it was a meal to remember..
The cafe is great and supports local artisans .. the dining and waiting area and restrooms are highly maintained and super clean ..
The hostess and staff were excellent.. I will be back .. I hope on peach cobbler day .. 😁😁.. A 10+ cafe for sure ..and yes I will be back .. I almost forgot you must try the Brisket burger and fries and Key Lime Cake .. 🤤🤤..

Love this place! Usually come for breakfast on Saturday and occasionally Friday steak night. The fries are crispy & tasty. Steaks are good too. The vegetable omelet is the best I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommend! Save me some food when you go, I’ll be there soon, lol.

Very welcoming place with great customer service and tasty food! I had fried chicken, field peas, mac and cheese, and corn bread dressing. I finished it off with the lemon pound cake. All were delicious!!! Highly recommend.

We purchased a catering meal for our high school bass fishing team (Geneva Panthers Bass Fishing). The lasagna, salad, garlic breadsticks, and dessert were all delicious! The amount of food was more than plenty and the price was extremely reasonable. The owner Don made sure we had everything we needed and loaded it all into our car us. Top notch service to go with a wonderful meal.

Woodcraft catered my daughter’s wedding. They were wonderful to work with, very attentive, arrived on time and handled absolutely everything food-related. Very pleased with their service, price, and the quality of the food. Highly recommend!

We had the meat and 2 lunch specials and also had one of their homemade desserts which was very good! We were greeted by the owner, and the staff was very nice. Highly recommend this place.

Owners were above kind and friendly!! We were here only visiting te area and found them online and I'm so glad we did. Good food, and you won't find nicer people.. that coconut cake was amazing! Will visit here every time I come through!

Everything here is good. Some things are great. Like the steak. The steak sandwich. The burgers. If you like food, this is your place.

Nice little restaurant. Offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in generous helpings. Nice and clean, have a 99 health score. Tea is awesome. Friendly folks that want you to have a good experience. And they give military and first responders a discount.

My husband and I ate here for the first time last night and absolutely loved it! The owners are SO nice! Woodcraft Cafe is family owned which makes it so special! Their love for the Lord is also so evident! Food was wonderful and was served with a huge smile! We will be back for sure!

Referred by a local coffee shop (Restoration). The breakfast was right on point, the staff is courteous and fast working, and the crowd is pleasant and welcoming!

Place is really clean. Meat and three daily choices good food. Hamburger steak, cucumber salad and a few tea choices. It’s a mom and pop original true southern hospitality restaurant and if you are headed north on 231 you may want to catch lunch there with no crowd.

Stopped in from the casino to eat brunch, the wife wanted breakfast, and I wanted steak. Food cooked to order and was delicious, steak cooked perfect. Met Don and Sharon very nice couple who helped us celebrate our 32nd anniversary by picking up the tab. Very thoughtful and generous of them! When we return we definitely will come visit again.

Super savory and delicious lunch! Roast beef, black eyed peas, fried green tomatoes and garlic buttered red potatoes. The owner walks through the restaurant and greets his customers personally! We can't wait to go back!

My wife and I went there for the first time and I must say it was a delightful experience the breakfast was very good . If you’re around Wetumpka or even passing through please put this on your stop list. Great family owned business.

The brisket burger is so delicious! Definitely recommend it with onion rings. I've also had the jerk chicken sandwich in the past and it was still really good, but this burger outshines it.

Best family restaurant in Elmore County ! Great food and service
