Coach House Restaurant

We got the Thursday deal, fried chicken with a side plus the soup & salad bar. 🥗 When the new owners first started, they had removed the hot meats from the salad bar. They have now replaced them. 😋 The last I had heard, they also stopped the salad bar on Sundays, I don't go on Sundays now, as I always enjoy their salads. They also close at 4 on Sundays. Insufficient folks that have a desire to work. Really sad ethics in our America. Enough politics 🙄. We also had the sweet potatoes. It's hard to go wrong with those. And they were big, they got their own plate!
We added dessert to our order. I had pecan pie, and my wife had coconut cream. Both were good. The chicken was hot 🔥 it burned the fuzz off my tongue. To me, that is great. I dislike barely warm food, I can always wait a bit to eat while it cools. And we took some of that chicken home. It sounds like breakfast to me! The waitress was friendly and helpful. This place has been around for years. It is one of Quincy's great restaurants.

I've been to Coach house a lot and there service is wonderful. Their pancakes are fantastic. Me and my aunt love sitting by the window and we can see what's going on. Their music is phenomenal I would give this place a 5 star review no bad things

Food was good and price reasonable. Service was good but staff seemed stressed.

The waitress was like speedy Gonzalez. Very good, on the ball, courteous and quick. She should be commended for her profession

I'm from out of town visiting family and they brought me here for breakfast. It's a cozy family style restaurant, quite busy in the morning but the service was great. It's fairly standard breakfast selection and I ordered French toast. When it was served, it was four thick slices of what looked to be home made bread which was the best French toast I have ever had. Even my own home made french toast pales in comparison. Also, the coffee was good and the service was attentive and friendly. I look forward to coming back when I visit Quincy again.

Great Home cooked food. The special of the day was delicious. There is a reason this place has been around for 53 years. Great food and service at a reasonable price. Oh and great coffee!

They have a good menu, good portion size, and good food. Best of all their prices are good. I paid less there with the family than we usually do at a drive thru joint, so I was happy and reinvested some of that savings into a larger tip for my waitress. If you're ever in Quincy check this place out...👍

I had the chicken and love it. Sweet potato fries were perfect, and the salad bar was fresh. Great waitress. We will visit again for sure.

Good comfort food at competitive prices. Saddened that they've closed the salad bar on Sundays, but there is plenty good on the menu to make up for it. The breakfast combos are the best.
