The Maine Beer Shed

We were in town for the marathon and found this gem. A fantastic spot and fantastic owners selling local produce and a phenomenal selection of craft beer.
We picked up fresh baked sourdough bread and some spectacular local cheese to enjoy for breakfast then went back to enjoy the wood food pizzas which were delicious

Nice, cozy, and welcoming. Great beer and cider selection along with an assortment of local goods. Was lucky enough to be there while fresh pot pies were being made, and they were absolutely excellent. 10/10 dog scene as well.

Awesome people and food! I ordered the pesto pizza and a beverage. You can't beat the quality of all the ingredients they use and how every cent spent here is helping to enrich and bring together the community.

There's one bad review here but I couldn't disagree with it more! The Maine Beer Shed is a fabulous place to eat and hangout.

I can't wait to come by again for more yummy food and to pick up some more local grocery items!

Wonderful place I visited after construction, I was very impressed! The lady was wicked nice and the selection was amazing for Maine-made craft beer, produce, and sodas! Unfortunately I didn't have time to order food to eat indoors but I'm certain that it is delicious as well!

***edit, just saw the review from a 'Ryan C.' - This is a guy who gives Taco Bell and Burger King 5 stars. He's clearly not aware of what it takes to run a business that specializes in local, farm to table food, and community involvement that includes recycling programs that are not offered by public services, and includes farm animals. I would disregard that review.
I Love this place. The owners are community oriented, taking strides to keep awareness of healthful food and our responsibility to the earth in the forefront. If you want to experience a place where you'll get food made from recently harvested, local ingredients, with a large offering of local beers, and feel a sense of community, this is the place. They are family owned, and welcoming to all. They are always growing and improving this place. It's been amazing to see the changes each time I am in the area.

Unfortunately the cafe was closed when I came through, but the beer selection and garden were absolutely incredible.

We spent a lovely sunny winter afternoon sipping beers (lager and cherry sour) by the fire pit and enjoying a delicious beer cheese soup with homemade bread.

This was a neat little shop in downtown Kingfield. I knew right when I saw craft beer on the sign it was my kinda place, so we checked it out and I'm glad we did! They have a good selection of local craft beers, as well as seltzers, ciders, pre-mixed cocktails, and bottled wine. They also had a broad range of pantry items including honey, jams and jellies, and assorted meats and vegetables. They have coffee and it looked like there were a few beers on tap, as well as some flight paddles behind the counter with plenty of seating inside.

Stopped by the Beer Shed this weekend! Had and awesome pizza and a couple high end beers. Really like the authentic atmosphere and great staff. Pizza was top notch with great local ingredients by the fire. Thanks Kate and team!

The Maine Beer Shed is a weekend favorite for their wood-fired pizzas and local market. Fresh, local foods can be difficult to obtain if I have to make the rounds myself, but the shop carries a wide variety right here in town. I rarely drink, but they do carry my beverage of choice, which can be hard to find elsewhere.

And those pizzas. Oh my word. I can't say enough about those pizzas.

AMAZING! A small market of fresh Maine products (veggies, meats, cheese, eggs, etc), an excellent selection of beers, some wines and ciders all from Maine! The owner is INCREDIBLY kind and accommodating. Honestly an amazing experience. My only regret is that I didn’t come here sooner!

This place is the reason I love Maine. A cool funky little place that could so easily be overlooked. But if you stop once you'll never drive by again without stopping. Amazing selection of really good beer. Along with cheeses and breads and cider and maple syrup and local vegetables. A true gem and worth a stop.

A lot more than beer (but the beer is amazing too)! Fresh local veggies/fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, flowers, crafts, and delicious freshly made food (mmm…hand pies) and a cool area to enjoy it with a drink. I go every time we’re in town for dinner and then stock up. Perfect place to enjoy some food, relax, then buy stuff for home. Super cool owners with really nice kids. In short: go here.

Been there three times so for. We ate there once and the hand pies were wonderful. Perfect little farmers market, beer selection is great, beer on tap, homemade gifts. Love it and will become a regular.

Absolutely delighted with our experience at the Maine Beer Shed. Excellent selection of Maine craft beers, and they serve wonderful cafe food too. The sausage and tomato hand pie was simply *chef's kiss* wonderful!

I love this place, it offers amazing baked goods, wood fired pizza, local foods, free recycling to the public, art classes, and wicked good brews.

The name is a bit of a misnomer. The beer shed has a LOT more than just a great selection of Maine's best beers. You can get local produce, meat, honey, breads, cheeses, etc. The folks that run the place are friendly and knowledgeable about everything they're selling.

Really nice spot with a fantastic selection of Maine beers and other local foods and produce. Friendly staff. Always looking forward to my next visit here.
