Nice local restaurant, delicious food, and amazing staff. This restaurant is small, quiet, and relaxing. If you're looking for a bite to eat or just some drinks (they do have a small bar), this is definitely a go-to. There is access to the snowmobile trail right to the restaurant. I suggest making a dinner reservation as this restaurant is popular and does get busy.

I took my wife to Longfellow's for her birthday last night. This is our second time dining there. Last visit was for my 70th birthday in December 2023. We decided to try the pan seared pepper crusted tuna appetizer , with wasabi , pickled ginger and pickled seaweed. Utterly mind blowing!! The flavors and textures all melded together quite nicely on the pallet. We loved this appetizer!
Next was Angus beef tips, medium rare and the wife had the Salmon special. It's a 40 min drive from our home in Solon, but well worth the drive.
The atmosphere was great last night, big party upstairs, not too many patrons downstairs, so you could talk without raising your voice. This all made for a very memorable birthday for the wife. This place will be our new go to dining spot!
Try them , guarantee you'll be very pleasantly surprised.
Prices are very reasonable , service was very good too!

On September 30, 2023, Longfellow's Restaurant catered my daughter's wedding. The staff set up grills and cooked the most delicious buffet meals any of the guests have ever had.
The bruschetta, Caesar salad, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, steak, chicken, and vegetable lasagna were perfect. They are amazing caterers.
The staff is friendly and professional. They deserve more than 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a wonderful experience I had last night !
Atmosphere was great, service was excellent, and food was above and beyond expectations!

My family has been coming here for over 30 years and this Longfellows evolves over time to consistently deliver good service and quality food from the kitchen.

Found this place via a Google search while out exploring and decided it was worth a look based on existing reviews.

I'm very glad we did - the cheeseburger and the fish and chips were delicious, the service fantastic, and the atmosphere overall was great if a little dated. Also, the price per item was very good value for how much food you actually get.

Longfellows catered my wedding and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was amazing. They did a fantastic job. Great service. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

We were on a nearby airbnb and wanted a quick lunch. So searched for the closest restaurant and found this. And it was wonderful surprise .
The food was top notch . We order cheese burger , pasta , haddock and cocktails . Everything was made to perfection, it was tasty, fresh , well seasoned and high quality ingredients .

If ever on that route will definitely stop again. Also the Philly steak soup was delicious.

If you're looking for an authentic main home-cooked meal experience, this is a great place! There are several items on the menu that are unique to the area. Everything feels homemade and tastes like your mom's cooking. Great comfort food and atmosphere. They have a full bar and many dessert items to choose from. The interior of the restaurant is rustic reflecting the ruggedness of Maine. Dinner time is quite busy between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. if you are planning on eating at that time, best to call ahead for reservations.
The servers here are fantastic. I would recommend this place and will definitely visit again when skiing at Sugarloaf.

Very nice place for dinner can eat outside on the roof or on the deck looking at the river. A variety of food choices from seafood to steak to hamburgers something for everyone. Prices are reasonable. Definitely going back there.

We are in Maine on vacation and stopped by here on Father’s Day on the way home to our Airbnb. Our service and meal were perfection. Everything was wonderful. Thank you for an outstanding dining experience!

Warm and comfortable setting. Very nice staff. Had a delicious, tender teriyaki chicken special with stir fry over rice pilaf, preceded by lobster bisque, and followed by a slice of raspberry-glazed white chocolate cheesecake to go. With a glass of wine and tip - under $50.

Table of four, we arrived for dinner reservation and were seated upon our arrival. While we did have to flag down a waitress to get the ball rolling after that everything went well. Good friendly service, the menu had a good selection of choices. Prices were reasonable, food was good. Relaxing comfortable meal with friends.

Service was great! Food was delicious! We had the salmon and the haddock; the haddock was hands down the winner!! They were both fantastic and I would definitely eat either dish again. It was a very nice relaxing atmosphere. They were very friendly and accommodating for our 1 year old! We would recommend stopping here for food or a drink!

Fantastic food! Bartender was really nice and attentive. The atmosphere was rustic. The others at the bar, even though I was a stranger, treated me like an old friend.

I love the story behind this restaurant. The conversion of the space was tastefully done. The food tastes really good too. I had a cut of steak, it was well prepared and the garnishments and sides paired properly.
