Comfy room, good prices, kind hosts, and stellar breakfast. Loved seeing the farm animals, especially the goose. Sugarloaf an easy drive and local restaurants in walking distance. Came here for the eclipse, plan to come back when I do kayaking in the area.

Our stay was absolutely perfect and I say that with the utmost sincerity. Valerie and her family made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. First off, the property is stunning and only a 20-minute drive from Sugarloaf Mountain. You get all the feels of a charming and cozy farmstead without any of those lovely "farm smells." When we walked into the main house, we were greeted warmly with fresh-baked cookies, shown to our spacious room, and offered recommendations of great places to eat dinner nearby (shout-out to Rolling Fatties Burritos - we went their twice LOL!). The real showstopper of our three-day stay was the breakfasts. I'm kicking myself for not taking more food pictures! Valerie is such an amazing cook. Each morning had fresh local coffee and fruit parfaits followed by a delicious entree (sourdough waffles, veggie and egg burritos, fresh lox...the list goes on). My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. Some of the other highlights from our stay were playing board games in the parlor, getting a tour of the farm grounds/event space, and petting the dogs. Also worth noting, our room was clean and updated with a comfy bed and plenty of hot water. Valerie went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay, but also gave us plenty of privacy. She's not one of those hosts that talks your ear off or monopolizes your visit. She is happy to chat or happy to let you do your own thing. I would be remised if I didn't share a special thanks to her for calling places to see if anyone had lobster rolls. I'm currently pregnant and was craving a lobster roll during our visit. She heard me mention this and searched around town to find a place that was serving them up (thank you, Anni's Market!). Although I didn't know Valerie before our stay, I left our visit feeling like we were old friends...she even gave me farm fresh eggs to take home! I wish her and her family the very best as they continue to expand the property and open up the brick oven pizza restaurant. I can't wait to visit again and enjoy a slice!

After staying here for the first time last week, I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else! Our room was spotless , cozy and incredibly charming. Our hostess Lisa was the coolest 14th generation Standish I've ever met!😀
Her organic home cooked breakfasts and suggestions for dinner in town were spot on! After an exhausting hike our first day there, her ideas for an easy beautiful,,, and in my opinion, a perfect hike the following day were so much appreciated that not only did my husband and I enjoy it that day, I plan on returning to spend more time with friends. I find myself missing the farm, my room , the animals, and the incredibly beautiful area we are so fortunate to enjoy.

I came up to stay at the B&B for the weekend to ski at Sugarloaf and it worked out perfectly. Lisa, the owner and manager, is very responsive by phone and answered all my questions. The B&B is very quiet and the room I had was immaculately clean. Additionally the breakfast is delicious and location is great - very close to the stores and restaurants in town. As this is a farm, Lisa had a few dogs and cats but they were super friendly, nice to have around, and didn't bother me at all. I would definitely come back to stay at the B&B over the summer to do some hiking on the local trails. Thanks so much for the hospitality Lisa!

Lisa was a very gracious host. We arrived late in the evening and found our room which was very comfortable. In the morning the fresh cooked breakfast was delicious. Our table looked out onto the farm and the chickens were running around happy as can be. Lisa gave us directions for a morning run along the river which was perfect. I could not imagine a better place to stay in the area than Mountain Village Farm.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Lisa! She was very helpful and kind. The place was very cute, had a feels-like-home vibe, and very clean. Breakfast was always delicious and a generous portion. And the view was breath taking!

Stayed here for a ski weekend. You feel like a guest in someone's home. Lisa the owner was a great host, and we got to meet a few other skiers. Our room was small but very comfortable with it's own bath. There was a lot of opportunity for privacy when we wanted it. If we make another trip to Sugarloaf, we're staying here.

We had a great experience. We were there for one night. My wife had a job in the area so we didn't get to experience everything. Even though the power went out and Lisa was under the weather she still served a limited but delicious breakfast using the woodstove to cook. We hope to go back when we can enjoy the hiking trails and other activities in the area.

Stayed here during a road trip and loved the place. It has a farmhouse feel, very quaint and comfortable. The grounds and house are well kept and quiet, and I personally loved having dogs, chickens, ducks, etc running around. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Overall a very peaceful spot.

Lovely B&B. Great aesthetic, comfortable rooms, and tasty breakfast. We stayed here as a mini getaway at the end of a roadtrip prior to heading home and this oasis absolutely hit the spot.

Great B &B. Very basic, no fancy anything, that's why the price is lower than other places.
