O'Lacy's

For many years, I have been eyeing this place up. Usually when I'm in Batavia though, I'm there on a Sunday, and O'Lacy's is not open. I came here with my parents and was so thrilled.

Immediately when I entered, I felt a sense of home. This pub transported me back to Ireland. I miss Ireland so much. The entire vibes of the place were positive and homey and exuded friendship.

I ordered the Uncle Louie with the famous chips and it didn't disappoint. I really liked the sauce that came on the side for dipping with the chips and sandwich. It had a good flavor. My mouth is watering thinking about this sandwich and chips. The service was great as well. It was only the bartender and waitress and every table was taken, as well as tables in the patio, so they were both hustling, but still attentive.

This is a cozy Irish pub with delicious food! I would go back anytime! It's worth trying.

Now it’s only right after a long morning with Queen Marsha in Niagara to search for a Pub for a late lunch… she says it doesn’t have to be Irish because her presumption is I will order Shepherds Pie. But the only good one on the way to Vermont is O’Lacy’s .. Kent Breslin is the great General Manager…Jeffrey has been running the bar for 25 years and all be darned if my old long lost relative Tom wasn’t at the end of the bar … I ordered God’s beer ( of course ) Guinness , and yes I’m part Irish …

This is my favorite place to eat! They’ve got the BEST Shepard’s Pie I’ve had anywhere, including what I tried in Ireland! The atmosphere and staff are the BEST! Totally recommend this place!

This is a great pub! The staff is great and the food is better. Drinks are fairly priced and they always have food specials. My favorite place to eat in Batavia.

First time visiting here, and it won't be my last! I ordered the special today, 3 meat Reuben, (turkey, pastrami, and corned beef) and their famous chips. The chips came out with a honey mustard sauce on the side that was absolutely wonderful! (Their own recipe).
The atmosphere was pure Irish. Our server was fast, friendly, and very helpful. Or food came out very quickly.
If you're ever in Batavia, NY, you should definitely give them a try

This was the first time we visited. The lamb stew and Reuben sandwich were great, the service was quick and pleasant and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will be back again soon.

Tucked away in downtown Batavia, the moment you step through the door of O'Lacy's you feel like you may have just accidentally left town.

From the traditional Irish music, the warm embrace of the bar top, the intermingled decor with its obvious yet quaint Irish roots.

Would recommend 10 out of 10 times! Sláinte!

Love this place. Had my first legal beer here. Great food, great beer and great people.

Absolutely love this place whether it's dine in or pick up the staff is amazing and attentive. I LOVE their food and not to be basic AF but MY favorite food to order is the grilled cheese and their chili it's absolutely amazing. If you're feeling guilt food or comfort food or even I just want to be warm in WNY food it's the chili for me. Get a side of sour cream and oyster crackers you won't be upset.

The best Guinness poured in the area and great food to go along with it.
Nothing new to report except new owner but still the place to go.
I just had the BEST Shepards Pie I've ever had here. It just keeps getting better.

Although small & on a side street this place is a jewel waiting to be found. The BEST Irish stew ever! My husband had the shepards pie & at first glance he thought it was small but he could barely finish it! The waitstaff and owner are very friendly and accommodating and the prices are excellent. Easily handicapped accessible with no step entry.

Great food, the Reuben was perfect. Soup was on point too. Love the atmosphere and the waitresses were great. Can't wait to go back.

This place was a true Irish pub!! The food was delicious!! I suggest the Ruben, soft Pretzels, shepherds pie, or the turkey sandwich.

We had a great time. Absolutely fantastic waitress. Good atmosphere. Enjoyed the food and drinks, of course. Perfect spot to hang with a small group of friends.

My first time at this establishment was very enjoyable. I had to ask the bartender if he was the owner. He wasn't but his degree of performance was like that of an owner who would be proud of his business.

I eat here probably about once per week. The food is absolutely fantastic and the staff is always very friendly, including the business owner. I would highly recommend this place, the atmosphere is amazing inside as well. If you're ordering take out, it is always ready quickly which I appreciate very much! Thank you guys for everything you do, we are customers for life!!

I've been here many times and have never had a bad experience. The fish and chips on Friday is amazing. Try the homemade chili too! The servers are spot on! The Guinness always comes with a perfect shamrock on top. Love this place!
