Best staff ever and the ice cream is really good. My go-to is either the Lost in the Woods, Boro Blast, or H.E.S Mess fusion. But I do also LOVE the pumpkin cheesecake fusion in the fall! My favorite flavor has to be Lil Blue Panda so yummy so good. I am so sad I moved so I won't be able to leave my house and get some ice cream in 3 minutes :( Best ice cream shop in town!!!!!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend for everyone to try

My experience was wonderful. I was allowed to try any flavor I liked and it was offered before I asked. Both ladies attended to me, and asked me what I was looking for. Once, I made my decision which was the vegan option, they guided me from there. It was so good! I paid about $9 because I had a little extras added. I’ll be back.

Delicious👍! The staff greeted us immediately and gave us time to think about our decision⏳! The ice cream scoops are huge, just like I like it! Will definitely come back!

Ordered an ice cream cake online, process was easy. Picked it up today and was even better than I expected. Was very large, beautiful and delicious. Will definitely be back. Just sorry I didn’t take a picture to post

Can't wait to visit more often in the summer!

Took advantage of a warm March day to walk over to this family-owned and operated ice cream parlor tucked in a small Hillsborough shopping center and was glad I made the trip to mark it off my list. This little shop offers a unique fusion of flavors that will certainly satisfy any sweet tooth and offer both delicious ice creams and fun cones and containers for whatever your craving desires at a fairly reasonable price, staying under $10 for a small cup and waffle cone, each with about 2-3 scoops!

I tried the Midnight Caramel River flavor, one I would highly recommend as I've never come across anything like it before and it's a delightful blend of golden vanilla and dark chocolate, filled with swirls of gooey caramel that didn't overpower the creamy texture of the ice cream. The combination of flavors was unlike anything I had ever tried before and I was blown away by how good it tasted. On top of that, it was in a crunchy, purple, "decked out" waffle cone that complimented the frozen flavors perfectly.

The atmosphere inside is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff, greeting you as you walk in and some bench seating outside as well as around the sides of the shopping center with picnic tables if you wanted to stay for a bit. We saw a few young families and pets out when we stopped by. You can also cross the street and take a walk through the park as we did to enjoy the warm weather and have no regrets from snacking down all the delicious ice cream lol. It's clear that The Ice House takes pride in its ice cream and puts a lot of thought and care into its flavor and I for one can't wait to return!

This is the BEST ICE CREAM SHOP BY A LONG SHOT! we’ve tried all different places, nothing even comes close to their customer service, cleanliness, the quality of icecream, always fresh toppings, they have a ton of options, and staff is always amazing! Listen you literally can’t beat this place! Anyone who complains about their cake wait time or rules is miserable and can’t understand that they are a busy icecream shop they make all of they’re custom cakes all they ask is you get your order in before Wednesday. Totally fair! Don’t waste your time going anywhere else! Owner is amazing always hooks us up with the most delicious icecream’ I see regulars in this place as soon as they open everyday! It’s that good!

An amazing assortment of hard ice cream flavors are available! Three different flavors of Moose tracks: mint, vanilla, and chocolate. My favorite is the Cappuccino crunch.

The ice cream here is amazing! Their flavors are delicious and if you can't find something you'd like, you can customize your own flavor with add-ins. Their vegan vanilla is smooth and creamy, one of the best I've had. It mixes very well with the add-ins to make any ice cream you'd want but dairy free. Everyone is also very friendly.. Highly recommend. Definitely will be coming back

Delicious ice cream and very nice staff

We celebrated our daughter’s birthday today and the ice cream cake was a huge hit! Ice cream cakes have been a family favorite for years, but today’s cake was hands down the best one ever.
They use REAL ice cream. Thanks so much to all the staff. The cake was perfect. We will definitely be repeat customers.

The Ice House owned and operated by Ryan is a amazing in many facets. He is prompt to answer questions, take orders and will even go out of his way to make something for a special day. The staff is hard working and the ice cream is the best I have ever had. This establishment is a gem in Hillsborough and should be visited by all of you who love ice cream. Good newer ice cream place... features Hershey's ice cream which is definitively underrated. They have some selection of non-dairy options as well.
