Belknap Woods Trailhead

It is a lovely walk. I walked the Beaver Dam loop with a four-year-old and a puppy in about 2.5 hours. Though we did pause to check out rocks and the little stream near the path, we mostly walked the whole time. It is flat, with only minor ups and downs, but easy enough for a small child to manage alone. There were some spots where you had to cross over wooden boards, but the path was stable and wide enough for a four-year-old to manage.
There is not much parking, but if you see a spot to park worth the try.

An easy, fairly flat loop trail with some little rolling hills which winds around through the woods. Walked it today, and thanks to some snowshoers, it was packed down and accessible with just hiking boots.

Quiet, relatively easy, 1 or 2 mile loops. A nice walk.

Secret treasure in Center Harbor

Short, quiet hike. Not a ton of parking. A good place to go if you'd like to spend time in nature & don't want to encounter too many folks on the trail.

Lovely hike through the woods. Fairly flat for NH. Follows creek for a bit and has nice beaver created pond/marsh. Skunk cabbage is coming up now.

Beautiful little walk, mostly woods with a small pond. The air is crisp, and smell of pine. Perfect anywhere.
