Went back during foliage season. Gets crowded with visitors and overflow parking is beside the road(hazard especially from a sharp curve) view for me is not as beautiful as those with the unofficial pullovers. I guess this has the most beautiful scenery out of the 4 official pullovers in kancamagus highway

I bet this is very beautiful during fall. This is the image during summer, see my pics below. There is an ample space for parking.

🏔 The mountains are still impressive with them covered in snow ❄. This vista isn't plowed so there's no parking 🅿 available. But if the traffic on Kancamagus is quiet, you can pull over briefly and take a look.

I missed the foliage by a week but still spectacular view

Probably one of my favorite spots I visited along the Highway! It was so beautiful and calming. I went during Columbia day weekend, but it was towards the end of the day, so it wasn’t as crowded. You could see the fall foliage for miles! It’s definitely worth seeing in person.

Beautiful quick scenic spot on the highway between Lincoln and North Conway New Hampshire. Stop has wonderful views of the forest and mountains and is also near some water so is a good spot to look for moose.. Unfortunately we did not see anyone we were there, but we did find a patch of wild strawberries and plenty of birds and smaller wildlife.

A really beautiful place to just stop and enjoy the kangamangus highway. This was a very pretty setting even on a cloudy day. Great places to explore and walk.

Enjoyed this stop along the scenic highway. Great vantage point to take pictures. Spent about 20 minutes here taking in the fall foliage in October '20.

Very pretty area. Parking was $5 per day, which covered parking in all car parks in the area, which was reasonable. The waterfalls were good.

a scenic stop, beautiful.

The best spot on the 112 for taking foliage pics, in prime-time early October. We stopped at a few spots overlooking distances, and all were nice, but for some reason none of them quite had that famous “orange red” palette of trees. This one did. Well worth it.

The other good spots to stop off at were the Sabbaday Falls, Lower Falls, and one other one with the name “gorge” in it. These are not the typical scenic vistas, but short walks to waterfalls or gorges with equally beautiful chances for pics.

Pro-tip 1: your phones may not work while on the 112! Bad cell service. Mine did not work at all.

Pro-tip 2: turning left into a pull off spot is a little stressful, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Everyone is generally going a bit slower and doing the same thing you’re trying to do
