Sal's Bar & Grill

We had the Burger and Fries special. Very tasty. Then were served double chocolate cupcakes made by the owner (complimentary). My Bloody Mary was also excellent. Will make this our go to at least once a week. Would like to see some lower booths and tables instead of all the high tops.

First time there yesterday. We were there for lunch. The food was very good!

Simple dive bar. Cheap but good (which marks a good dive). The cheese curds were SO good.

This is my idea of a great neighborhood bar. Clean inside with lots of seating options.
Shout out to Darren, our bartender, for being attentive, making good recommendations with drinks and food and for being a great conversationalist! This guy is going places!
The chili was tasty and so were the dry rub wings. I’ll be back and recommend you try it and have a homemade apple pie shot!

Great local spot, great atmosphere inside. Food was perfect and I highly recommend their pizza lol and Buffalo chicken sandwich

The food is excellent. Home made burger patties with fresh bakery buns, delicious burgers. Their home made Pizza is fantastic. Plain small town bar with great service, fair prices, and excellent food. Move this bar to the cities and the line to get in would be a mile long.

Local treasure-- great food (Mike sandwich, wild rice soup). Kyle and Dale make it Sal's.

Went here much more when I was younger visiting friends going to St. John's or St. Ben's. Good prices and strong drinks. Recently went here when they had a Ducks Unlimited event and had a nice time. I cannot speak to the womens' bathrooms, but the mens' rooms are not and have not been in great shape for the past 10 years in case that's a deal breaker.

One word describes Sal's. "Awesome!" The burgers are great. The tap beer selection is always good. The atmosphere is always fun at Sal's. Dale and Kyle are very friendly and always provide attentive customer service.

We were there for the dad daughter prom that the CSB/SJU seniors rented out because the colleges didn't have one this year because of Covid and it was really fun! I've been out of the bar for an hour and my ears are still ringing. Great time!

Get the soup! Best soup in thr area hands down!! The burgers are great too but make sure you ask to add fried onion and pickles to them. Great daily specials.

We go there quite often, especially for the Friday fish fry. All around a great experience!!!

6 of us 40+ year olds stopped in and it was full of college students but it was still really welcoming. Everyone was so friendly! Good deals on drinks!

Love Sal's bar. It's a small town bar and the staff are always so welcoming. Always a great time even if we are the only ones there ☺

Ive worked at Sals for 30 years and its a joke that people are calling the bar racist because of laws we have to abide by with international ids...plus people forget the students get away with stuff at sals that if they did in other big city bars...the bouncers would throw them out and use their heads to open the door..most of my experience with the students over the years has been positive..yet every year we get some people that treat the bar likes its their personal playground...people should find out all facts about bar rules pertaining to ids before they label anything racist
