We’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. Last nights Valentine’s Day menu was absolutely amazing. I’ve included a couple photos of my appetizer and entree. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for amazing food and service. Bon appetite.

We just fell in love!! Everything was lovely...we sat at the bar and Olivia could not have been a better bartender and guide. The octopus starter was fantastic and the seafood pasta was perfectly spicy and delectable ...chocolate torte perfection.

As weekly regulars since Barbaro opened, we have always enjoyed coming here. it’s a gathering place for friends and locals, and the staff has always been incredibly warm and welcoming. they’ve had the growing pains in the past… but I can say the restaurant is now well-managed, The staff are incredibly friendly and kind and attentive and the food is consistently great.

My friend and I have been coming to Barbaro every time we’re nearby visiting the historic homes in Hyde Park. Service is excellent and they were able to accommodate all of my friend’s dietary preferences. It is one of the only restaurants that we feel comfortable eating inside since there is a table in the back that is quite distanced from all of the other diners.

I was fortunate enough to visit on Chicken Parmigian night. Chicken was cooked perfectly and was tender and juicy. Portion was generous and I was able to make two meals out of it. On the other occasions that I visited here I got a fish special and the burrata ravioli. The skin of the ravioli was super fresh. The filling was smooth and flavorful. The oil carried the basil flavors well.

The cocktails here were above average. The coffee blvd was the most unique one. It is a twist on a traditional Negroni cocktail. The addition of some coffee infused Campari combined with the herbal notes of the vermouth made a unique bitter flavor that I found to be more appetizing than that of a traditional Negroni. Mr. Brightside was an excellent choice for a summer night. The elderflower and citrus combination was quite refreshing and went well with the fish special. Witchmaker was a light version of a whiskey sour with some ginger. It’s good for someone who wants to start on whiskey cocktails since the whiskey was lighter compared to others I’ve had.

The dessert I gravitate towards is the coconut sorbet. It was packed with coconut flavor and had a smooth texture with a few bits of shaved coconut folded in.

Looking forward to my next meal here when I’m in the area!

We stumbled upon this place and they were very accommodating to allergies! Food and service were delightful. Best cheesecake we had ever had!

All I can say is “Wow”! This restaurant has got to be one of the best the area - hands down!

Our evening was absolutely perfect in every respect.

The octopus was tender and flavorful, as was the BLT Caesar salad. The Branzino special was fresh cooked to perfection. Steak was divine. The seafood risotto special with saffron was special indeed, packed with flavor.

And the desserts were some of the best ever . The cheesecake was fluffy and the tiramisu could have easily come right from Italy!

Our waiter was attentive, professional and extremely knowledgeable.

I have not had such a perfect dining experience in a while would highly recommend Barbaro to anyone looking for a delicious meal - special occasion or not!

Sat outside on a chilly night warmed by those lovely gas-heaters like giant candles. We split an amazing kale salad and a wood-oven pizza. Perfect! I love this place!

Omg what an amazing night! The outdoor seating was perfect for a fall night, the service and staff were so friendly and amazing and I can't say enough about the food. Barbaro is serene. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Upscale but not stuffy. You can wear jeans or dress up. Perfect date night spot or family dinner gathering place. Chef Brower’s food is so good; I’ve never been disappointed and I’ve been here at least 10x. Treat yourself to the risotto of the day, or the most tender ribeye steak you’ve ever had. The cocktails are delicious as well. The bar and the outdoor seating are great options if you want to change up each experience. The staff is lovely too. My favorite restaurant, hands down.

Food was excellent! The Staff top-notch. Highly recommend this restaurant. This will be our new winter spot for sure 👌

This is our go-to dinner spot. Food is excellent and consistent. Staff is friendly and do not rush you,. Drinks … excellent! I defiantly recommend this restaurant.

Really diverse and interesting menu. My son and I went on a Thursday night and it was quite crowded. We both had a burger and we're provided with a ton of fries as well. Everything was extremely delicious. Service was attentive. Definitely be visiting this establishment again.

The food is really really good, and the decor is warm and inviting. The kitchen staff are amazing, putting forth consistent quality, well balanced dishes. The grilled asparagus is one of the best I've had, and the menu is on the money. Wait and bar staff are all very kind and approachable, all in all, this is one of the better places for a good meal in the Hudson Valley. Will be back for sure
