Max's Bakery

I picked up a package of Max’s donuts at the Cuba Cheese Shop today. Best donuts I have had since the ones Mom used to make ages ago. Delicious!!

One of the only producers of good salt rising bread, thanks for keeping my salt toast needs taken care of.

Has anyone heard when / if they are going to reopen ?

Excellent bread

A very unknown and hars to get to bakery. But well worth it. The drive is beautiful and adventurous.
once there , you.will be thank full you went. Its a little room of the barn that is usex to make their products. The people that run it are amazing. And, the baked goods.... Wow!!!
If you see their salt rising bread at a market or store, get it. Best you will ever have

I’ve had their bread but saw on here they had a restaurant and shop, but they’re both closed. It was hard to find the location, gps didn’t show it far enough up the road.
