Everything was the perfect example of what that dish should be. Our new favorite! I don't usually take pics of my food but I just had to. Rack of lamb with the duck in the distance. Beautiful and absolutely delicious...the potatoes were also amazing.

It's always been a satisfying experience to have lunch in this restaurant.

The food is terrific.

The ambiance is delightful.

I ordered the monkfish special. Delicious.
Chocolate mousse for dessert.
Green split pea soup for starters.

My wife and I enjoyed this bistro very much. The food was excellent and there wasn’t a long wait time for it. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Everything we ordered were specials. The goat cheese appetizer was one of our favorites because of the flavor variety. On top of that, the cheese was from a local farm. The trout meunière was cooked to perfection and the meunière sauce was spectacular, with a slight tang to excite the tastebuds. The lamb sirloin au jus was perfectly cooked and the accompanying scalloped potatoes paired very well to enhance its flavor. The portions were beyond sufficient.

Café Les Baux’s footprint is small, so we were close to other tables, but we never felt cramped and the noise level was never overpowering. We still felt like the atmosphere was sufficient for an intimate evening out for good food. You will not be disappointed when you come.

My girlfriend and I have come her twice so far (made the 1.5 hour drive 2 summers in a row), and the food is outstanding. While this is a nice place, and you would not be amiss to dress up a bit, what I really like about it is that while the food is amazing, the environment is relaxed, somewhat casual, while still having a hint of elegance. So whether you want to have a dressy night, or just walk in wearing shorts and a polo, both are perfectly acceptable. Moreover, my girlfriend lived on France for a number of months, and traveled there frequently with family throughout her childhood, and she says this place has some of the best French food she has had in America.

It became a ritual: every time, when we're visiting Innisfree Gardens, we're going to this charming place for dinner. The best duck ever, period. Try it with Belgian cherry lambic.

Wonderful French-inspired restaurant in the Hudson Valley. Cozy atmosphere. Good service. I order a special duck salad. It came with several slices of perfectly-cooked duck breast and a slab of fois gras. I was in heaven!

I had the rack of lamb... Oh my gosh! Never before had I been inspired to write a restaurant review... until now. To say the lamb was perfectly cooked would be a gross understatement. Heaven is the only word I can use to describe it. My wife was raving about her steak frites and kept trying to offer me a bite but I firmly refused, not wanting to diminish the once in a lifetime moment I was having with my own plate. What a lovely cozy place. I'm not a big wine drinker but my wife said the wine list was excellent. The staff were warm, friendly, attentive and accommodating. Contemporary French music played softly in the background giving the place just the right feel. My advice, go to a late lunch on the weekend, bring the Times or a book, and after your meal just relax. They kindly allowed us to kick back and enjoy the day while they cleaned up and prepped for dinner. An A+ experience!

Amazing restaurant, the staff was so attentive to our needs and comfort.
This restaurant was recommended to us by a local and it didn’t fail our expectations. My wife was very happy she loves a good onion soup and creme brûlée. Both were delicious! The soup was perfectly seasoned and cheesy. The creme brûlée was elegant and exquisite.

They are taking COVID restrictions seriously by making sure all patrons sit away from each other.

For decades we had been going to Le Gigot, a lovely little French hole-in-the wall tucked into a Greenwich Village side street, for our wedding anniversary. But we live in Newburgh now, not NYC, and came here on advice from a friend, who said it would give us the same vibe.

She was correct. Great ambiance, great food, and great service.

Great experience. I had a Mesclun salad with a fig and goat cheese. I would never think to put the two together ,it was great. My main course was a fish I never heard of ,pan seared to perfection. I normally do not eat scales ,but the fish scales were the texture of potato chips ,served over 6 or so nice vegetables, ,two I could not name ,1 looked like a cucumber skinned. the other like a large scallion.

Baguette, soups, salad, and croque-madame all slapped. Even the butter slaps. Top notch spot.

Stopped in for a quick bite after a morning of sporting Clay's at orvis. Great menu and a great selection of beers. This town is going hip. Parking lot across the street with a great waitress and friendly bartender had some shrimp and a burger and it's on my list of stops next time I'm in the hood!

Always Excellent even in the Rain. We took old friends there last night in a rainstorm and it was just perfection in every way including the service. We are so very lucky to have this great spot in our Town as it is a joy to dine there - even on a rainy evening. As we were leaving one of our Guest booked her Table for Friday night. AAA+. Tres Bon.
