Brown's Campground

My family and I absolutely love Browns campground .. We visit as often as we can. Bathrooms and grounds are very well kept and the owners are so kind and have ready recommendations for anything local. It's a great place to be when you just want some down time. Pictures are of salmon river and the trail to get to it its a nice hike beautiful view

Wonderful place. Well maintained. Come here every year with our RV and have never had any issues! Definitely recommend. Easy access to the Salmon river.

We had been travelling long by motorcycle and we’re looking for a tent camping area and came upon Brown’s. During their off season, Pete and Monica welcomed us as family would! We got to stay in a super cool cabin. They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

Pete and Monica are incredibly awesome.

We came for rafting in the Salmon River and camped for two days as a family of 3. The owner family are super kind and helpful. They let us use the log cabin for the rate of tenting. They also shared the local info and family stories, which my whole family enjoyed hearing.

The campground is spacious and clean in August and the rates are very reasonable. For the city slickers, be prepared for a lot of bugs. The office area has free wifi if your phone has no access to the network.

Pete and his wife have been more than wonderful and the campsite is perfect. Stores aren't too far away, and the prices are pretty great if you ask me! If you want a nice quiet place to camp you should come here!! Ty Pete & Family !!!

took a group of 17 adults and 3 kids tent camping. staff was awesome, welcoming, and provided picnic tables, fire pit, fire wood, and even gave us their number in case we needed anything. We have an awesome spot in "tent city" which is private but big enough to hold a large group. 10/10

Really great couple. Easy to work with. Other camp-goers seemed polite as well. They have a little of everything onsite. Very clean restrooms.

Pete and (Sonja?) are constantly on the move, making sure guests get fed, fish get cleaned and frozen, and that trash is emptied and facilities are well kept. Don't know how they find all the energy.
There's even a little bit of tackle supplies if you need something fast and things like sunglasses and they really don't upcharge.

I had a bit of a hump to get over not knowing (because the website doesn't specify) that there were certain fees for extras like freezing the fish for you. But this was part of the learning experience and I don't know what the "normal custom" is because I've never taken a hunting or fishing trip before. So, surprise! But I got over it and apparently some places charge per fish per day in the freezer!!!! Other places consider freezer space as part of the room fee. Who knew?

At the end of the day it was a wet week on the tail of a rainy weekend but I'd do it again next year!

When I got there Mr brown made a addition mistake that I didn't catch. Shortly afterward he came walking down looking with me with cash in hand and apologised handing me the overpayment. This family is amazing. The grounds are wonderful and focused on providing families with the most wonderful experience possible. I am going back as well my son and his wife. Do your family a favor. Stay there and enjoy the salmon river no matter what the season. God bless you

I put my camper at the camp grounds for an out of town close friend of mine that is renting it. The gentleman Pete was so nice, helpful & just down right cool. He even came down to me after checking the camper in to see if I needed anything or had everything handled. Very awesome place.

Love this campground! Been coming here for 10 years.The owners are great people. Can't wait for this year's trip. Save me a spot!

Clean bathrooms, spacious camp sites and a friendly Team running the place. Pete is awesome!

Awsome place to visit and chach fish

We haven't camped here yet but park here to go fishing and at $2 per person to park in some great fishing areas. We will take that all day!

Enjoyed my stay, 4 of us went for a salmon trip and they have a trail that leads right down to the water (salmon river)
