Dr. Karen L. Tan, MD

I was just accepted as a patient here today due to some sinus pressure/issues that I’ve been dealing with on and off for some time, as my father recommended Dr. Tan and her staff, so I figure it was time to pull the trigger and do it.

I called the receptionist, they were quick to return my call, got me in on a Thursday (my off day from work) and I worked with her Nurse Practitioner, who was professional, helpful, quick and courteous, she was right on the ball. It’s almost like she knew what I was feeling before even saying it; awesome.

I had an allergy test done; come to find out I wasn’t allergic to anything, but it was more/less something seasonal causing flare-ups. I cancelled my services here due to the out-of-pocket costs being too high, but that’s no fault of the office; just my insurance. Highly recommend though, granted it’s within your insurance coverage.

I've been to see Dr. Tan for two pretty serious issues. The staff are pleasant, helpful and very kind. Dr. Tan is mot just smart, but she truly listens to you about what issues you have. I'd recommend very highly.

Everyone is always sweet n helpful. Dr Tan knows her stuff. She will keep working with you until she discovers what is the root cause of your issues n how to treat them.

Been with Dr Tan for 1 month and i like whats she does and there employee's are awesome keep up the good job!!

Always a pleasure

Not very accommodating at all. Like so much so I skipped going to them for over a year due to their rudeness. They do their jobs so that's something.

Tried to make an appointment but was told that they did not take straight Medicaid (which I have), said another insurance would be needed along with Medicaid so I said I would pay any remainder with cash but when I asked how much a visit would cost I was told “no idea, you will find out after the visit”. I asked if that is likely a $1 or $10,000.00 and was told “no idea, you will find out after the visit”. It was like talking to a robot. Is it wrong to ask how much a visit will cost? I mean we ask a plumber, we ask insurance companies, we ask phone companies etc. so why not a doctor? Seems a likely way to get stiffed so I went on to a more professional and upfront ENT, glad I did.

The nurse "manager" is the rudest person I've ever encountered. Not worth dr tan

The medicine is fine but their customer service is awful. Very disrespectful for no reason. If it wasn't loads of work I'd switch facilities immediately.
