Very nice place for a hike or to just enjoy the scenery. Peaceful and quiet, with the sound of the river being the only thing you can hear mostly.

Salmon river is awesome!!! But DEC and judge Howard Allen high fines are going to drive everyone away, which DEC would concentrate on the litter bugs and taking of illegal fish.

Best spot I've found without a guide...not very busy on a Friday morning and some great spots you might not even need waders for.
