The Salmon hash was really good. Large bustling interior caters for a crowd. You would be hard pressed to get better value.
Good bottom less coffee, with a meal.

WOW! Visiting New Paltz, this is my girlfriend’s favorite spot. I had THE best Salmon Benedict Hash of my entire life. Our server was super informative and pleasant. The young lady who served showed us to our table had the coolest earrings. Highly recommend this place for brunch on the weekdays and get here early on the weekends. Line is out the door

This place with our fail has some of the best breakfast in town. It will be a wait for a table. But it's worth it. My personal favorite is the trailblazer. But on that note I have not been disappointed with anything I eat here. The servers are great . Been the same staff for ages too. The vibe is nice too. Definitely worth the wait. Great food.

We always saw a line out of the door at this restaurant so we decided to try it out. I’m so glad we did because their breakfast menu is so satisfying and well-priced. I had the chicken and waffles which was so delicious and heavy which was perfect when we needed to refuel after hiking around the area. It’s perfect for before or after hikes. Although, the proportions are massive so maybe try the lighter meals if you’re going to go for a hike shortly after. The staff are incredibly kind and frequently check in. This will definitely be our go to eatery after hiking around New Paltz.

The menu here is huge, it took us quite a while to figure out if we wanted breakfast or lunch; everything looked so good!

I got the Trailblazer, which was an eggs benedict with crab cakes. It was really tasty, had a nice spicy kick to it and the eggs were nicely poached. Definitely a meal I'd come back for.

My wife got the salmon hash and her friend got a burger. Both enjoyed their meals as well.

Overall this place has made it to my "will come back" list, and I'm excited to try more of the menu!

From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel entirely at home. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like a regular, even though you're stepping in for the first time.

The menu itself is really big and diverse. We ordered 3 different dishes, each was reasonably priced for what you got, and completely delicious.

Will definitely stop by again.

I have eaten at the Bistro countless times, but had dinner for the first time. We had delicious vegan meals. They served generous portions for a great price. I’m not vegan , but really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Same space , but different vibe with nice background music and very friendly service.

The *perfect* diner, in every way. Friendly staff, great menu w a vast but not intimidating selection, specials every day, and the food is outlandishly good. Round that out w a staff that is attentive and kind, never thrown off by substitutions, always ready to help w suggestions, and you've got a little slice of heaven. Seating is tight and the place fills up fast, but your first bite of literally anything on their menu will make that a distant memory.

This is hands down my favorite breakfast spot in the area. Great vegan and vegetarian options. The price is so reasonable as well. The chicken and waffles were great. Any dish with home fries you will surely enjoy.

Don't take chances with your breakfast. This is serious people - and if you really want to be sure, make the right decision: banana pancakes and salmon hash. It's not worth risking a bad breakfast somewhere else. Do the right thing, eat at Main Street Bistro.

Great funky, local joint with delicious food and generous portions. Reasonably priced and nice servers. Had the Tofu Today Sandwich with Grilled Tofu and Portobello Mushrooms + a side of the Potato Garlic Soup.

I don't experiment much as it's rare I get to come here, but when I do it's always the bistro slam with cintron walnut French toast. Loaded tater tots were good as well and hubs burger looked perfect.

Love this place. It gets quite busy on the weekend so time it well or wait in line. High quality food and nice ambiance in the heart of New Paltz. I was pleasantly surprised to have a pay with QR code receipt. Super convenient.

For over 20 years I've been traveling to this WORTH THE WAIT eclectic Bistro right on Main Street in Artsy New Paltz. They manage to get the BEST Buttermilk Pancakes, Double-batter dipped French Toast w Artisan Bread and just about anyother Breakfast fancy you can think of out of that mid-sized Kitchen. NEVER a fail is ALL I can Say! Bravo Main Street Bistro and ALL THOSE Who've Cheffed, Cooked, Served and Waited - - you ALL are deserved of my appreciation!

The Bistro has been a very popular breakfast and lunch place in New Paltz for many years. Recently under new ownership, some things have changed. The breakfast and lunch aspect have stayed roughly the same, but they have added a VEGAN VIETNAMESE dinner six days a week. I don’t usually do reviews of places in NewPaltz, and wasn’t planning to, so I did not get pictures, will next time. Great food and make sure you try the bubble tea, probably the best in town!

The Main Street Bistro is a must go! Every time we are in the area, we make it a point to go. All food options are delicious! Service is always top-notch! It is very affordable! There can be a line.... because it's so good! Get there early if you can!

Every menu item I have tried and it's been quite a few, have all exceeded my expectations each time. The food is always so fresh and delicious! The staff are all awesome and friendly. Also I found a new beer to love the abbey ale my goodness is it scrumptious.

Great food. Unfortunately, they operate at 50% capacity because of rona. Secret hint: bar is first come first serve, so if you are 1 or 2 people, grab the stool and skip 2 hour wait.

Probably my favorite place to get breakfast in the entire western hemisphere. No joke, this place is the greatest ever. Order the chicken n waffles and your week will be made. I swear.
