Had a great weekday brunch here. Food and cocktails are spot on. This is the kind of place you'd expect in the city proper and a nice option is here. Very vegan friendly. Prices are high but fair for farm to table ingredients and ethical wage transparency the whole way down.

The area doesn’t have too many things going on except for these small quaint towns which occasionally have amazing lunch spots and this is one of them.

Great food and vibes! Recommend for sure and make sure to get the seating outside if the weather agrees!

After walking the River-to-Ridge Trail and Wallkill Valley Trail Trail we had lunch at Huckleberry. It’s down a side street so a little out of the way which might keep it less busy. Another restaurant on Main Street has a wait time of 45 minutes. Huckleberry has more tables on the second floor than on the main floor. Downstairs is a nice long bar and a few tables. The downstairs has a high ceiling so it feels like walking up two floors to get to the second floor.

We ordered a Grass Fed SmashBurger (beef burger) and their house made Veggie Burger both came with fries. Our friend also ordered the SmashBurger and asked for it medium rare and was told they only serve it medium or well done which he was fine with.

The service was as good as the food was.

I never wanted to be a wing so bad. Im a wing girl, but the way these garlic buffalo wings hit... that blue cheese.... Fire. I just couldn't, I'm still thinking about them. Service was amazing too uh i loved the server she was so nice. I hate logging in for google reviews, but these wings... and the place was cute too

I would recommend! You seat yourself. Lots of comfort food choices available. Bar drinks available. Donuts are on the menu (didn’t have). The double smash burger is tasty, but messy! Fries so good, ordered an extra serving! Service good. Sat outside on a nice weather day, with some insect visitors flying around (not the restaurant’s fault), just be prepared. If I were in the area again, I would return. Oh, they were out of Brussel sprouts, which was kind of a bummer.

After shopping in the town, a store associate recommended this restaurant to us and decided to try it. We weren't disappointed.
I came here for lunch, with my group of friends after hiking. We all ordered the burger (double smashed patty) with the rosemary fries and the brussel sprouts.
We were seated outside, since the weather was nice. Considering we were outdoors, there were a few insects surrounding us (one even fell in our drink), but the staff was helpful in replacing it for us.
I would look forward to visiting this restaurant again.

I love it here! The umbrellas set the perfect casual cool vibe and everything is freakin delicious. The burger is hard to beat but we have also loved the chicken salad sandwich, the wings, and I’m a fan of the fried brussels sprouts. The drinks are also awesome - I will be sad when the frozen coconut cocktail leaves the menu after the summer - but I’m sure it will make way for something great. Of course everything is tasty but the staff is also so helpful and nice. We appreciated the help keeping some bees away on a recent visit and they are super dog friendly. I come every time I’m anywhere close to the area

Excellent cuisine! It was close to closing but they never skimped on their dishes. Everything we purchased was delish! Brussel sprouts: Yum! Flatbread pizza: yum! Wings: Average tasty wings

Huckleberry is a great spot in New Platz. We had cocktails outside & then dinner inside. The drinks & food were delicious. The staff was friendly & helpful.

Absolutely great. You can't go wrong with anything you get here. The location can seem a bit small but does hold a good out of people even during peak times, so the wait wasn't too bad, especially since they have some outdoor spots to hang out. Incredibly friendly staff, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Drink menu is all delicious, and no matter what you get for food you'll be happy. Perfect for small groups, I wouldn't recommend more than 6 people on short notice, but definitely worth checking out! Donuts are to die for.

My roommate and her friend were looking for a new place to eat around town so we decided to stop by huckleberry and we weren’t disappointed. Very welcoming out door seating the staff was very nice. The drinks abs food came out quickly the fr oven margarita was excellent. For apps we tried the wings which were delicious (have a napkin on stand by) the burger was very very good , juicy and seasoned great I enjoyed the whole thing and you will to good for kids also

The food was phenomenal and the staff was friendly and very courteous. We loved the wings, shishitos, and poutine and were blown away by them all. The portions were generous!

The lavender lemonade and yellow jacket mock tails were unique and refreshing!

We had tried this place before on a weekend morning for brunch but Sunday night looked a little dead. The good part is we did not have to wait in the queue to be seated.

We are their kimchi burger and replaced patty with bean and quinoa patty and another burger we had was veggie burger. Both were good. We replaced sea salt fries with rosemary and parmesan. It tasted good.

What a delightful little place, perfect for a beautiful day. The outdoor seating is perfectly spaced for comfort and distance from other diners while having heaters incase it gets chilly. The menu is fresh and bright with frequent changes and rotations to keep things exciting. The drinks are perfectly crafted and the food was exceptional. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. I would absolutly recommend a visit.

Sooo pretty sitting outside, all the flowers and decorations. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. Even the little birds fly up close while you are seated. Dogs are welcome in the outside dining area. The fire pit outside is a lovely added ambience BUT be prepared to smell like a fire afterwards, especially on a breezier day. Cost is not cheap but not too expensive either and the food and atmosphere are worth the cost!

Very cool off the beaten path, which I mean New Paltz is full of that! Great selections for anyone. Lots of vegan choices. I did the vegan chorizo and mushroom pate. Pate was good but lacked a little fatty mouth feel. Chorizo tacos were very good and would order them again. Ambiance was great, sat outside with good music and a laid back atmosphere. Great setting back behind some houses. Drinks were very good as well old fashion was a little sweet but was something I would order again.

Great place to have a drink and sit by the fire. Food is pretty good too and limited to a few things so you're not searching through the menu too long. Services is great as well and the bartenders do a good job at remembering if you order the same thing if you're in there often.

My husband and I love supporting local and love even more a full menu of options that are farm to fresh. Huckleberry did not disappoint. The weather was perfect to sit outside in a very cozy and comfortable back patio like setting. However the inside was very cool looking if that's your choice. The food and drink options most definitely met out pallet expectations. Staff was friendly our hearts and stomach were full.

Second time coming here. Outdoor area is amazing even in the cold weather as there’s several large space heaters and they usually have a fire going between tables. Tables are spaced out to promote social distancing and the ordering system is super efficient and safe. Highly recommend the grass-fed burger and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Beer and bar menu is extensive with plenty of great local options.
